@taciturnboy88 I really don't believe that she personally destroyed her voice. She doesn't strain too hit her notes or anything. It's likely some sort of effect of cancer treatments. I don't doubt she can still hit the note but she isn't promoting it as a single anymore and probably doesn't go out of her way too try and hit notes that aren't in her comfort range.

I cant notice a difference but if thats the case then its probably because shes getting older, Whitney Houston started with a 4 octave range in the 80's then it dropped to a 3 in the mid 90's It is much easier for younger people to hit the higher notes

@WhitneyElizabethH Could be any number of reasons, gotta remember also that she went through huge amounts of cancer drugs and chemo ,who knows the side effects of them or what they affect. I don't doubt she can hit them but it's not in her comfort zone so she probably won't go out of her way too hit g#5 each performance anyway. Either way she still has a great voice

This is by far the best live rendition of born to try - she hits that high note perfectly (in alot of the other ones she either doesn't attempt it at all or doesn't hit it perfectly). here the whole performance sounds perfect. this is when delta was at her best, her voice was so pure and clear - great!

It's either a recorded live or lip sync. BUT somehow i don't believe delta does any of these. Most of her performances are live. Although this is one of her best live performance of born to try, it's somehow made to believe that it's lip sync. But then again, it's a great song sang by a great artist, so who cares ;)
