  • You play sometimes ornamentations like in baroque practice. I heard it by other pieces too.

I'm nearly sure that's unusual by Reger and the (late) Romantic in general. Compare it with Helmut Peters in my video (see above)

  • Nice. But as I know is "Wer weiss, wie nah mir mein Ende" from op.79 b (you wrote op.135a)

  • I only play the organ, and I sing in an emergency! Mainly, I compose for organ and/or choir. My brother plays guitar, it always strikes me as seeming a particularly difficult instrument to play, and I've never got my head around it I'm afraid! But you seem to have done!

  • Thanks! I'm terribly lucky as I have a few stunning pipe organs to play, and to have this is just a total luxury! What's you're main instrument?

  • Does "Main instrument" refers to the instrument i play the most? (Apologise my bad english, i'm from Argentina so...) If that's the meaning, my main instrument is the Classical Guitar. But not the only one. Do you play any other instruments?

  • Actually no, but I know little about organs...It must be awesome to have one at your own place. And it sounds really beautiful even in the recording.

  • Its my practice organ made by Makin. The recording doesn't do it justice! Have you ever heard of them?

  • Beautiful. Genius.

  • Thanks. Reger has some beautiful harmonies!

  • He really does. I have a question, what about that organ?
