Wow. I just... wow. This is so utterly unlike the Raymond Burr era of Perry Mason. It took me by surprise, I admit, but I gave it a chance and I am glad; the cast is delightful and engaging (Della truly shines, and the chemistry between her and Perry is exceptional), the dialogue witty and snappier than most of what's on TV nowadays... it all works out to be a very entertaining experience. Two thumbs up from this Mason fan!
Thanks so much for this one, too! William's Mason takes some getting used to and the entire movie is not very close to the book but it's fun to watch anyway. Like in "the Velvet Claws", cheeky Della was my favorite character in this: "Oh, I forgot. This is your confession..." *LoLoL* Awesome!
