  • That mom is so boss.

  • Зацените я старался

  • Looks like me when i was little.

  • Baby chimps are way cuter than baby baboons. Baboons look like little aliens, cute but in a very ugly way

  • I want to say something so racist but I won't lol. This reminded me of something between racial groups amongst us homo sapiens sapiens. Great video.

  • But, Will it blend?

  • Chimpanzees are great apes, like humans, they are not monkeys. Baboons are monkeys.

  • YOU GO VIVI!!!

  • ew

  • Thumbs Up.. Haha get it?

  • How you doing cousins.

  • More like an animal type human...

  • Oh how cute, a human type animal.

  • This vid shows how vunerable the mothers are when they have just given birth.

  • And baboons try to keep the baby . . . for a meal!

  • Alright. This is annoying me. We did not evolve from primates. We had a common ancestor. That is what evolution means. Not that one day some chimps turned into humans...

  • @TheMimslyTop we have no ancestor. We might be related to chimps and gorillas

  • @TheMimslyTop clearly you have no idea what a primate is.

  • Welcome to Harlem ...

  • the baboons can just eat their own child! why chase after others' child.. not that eating any child is encouraged.

  • @lovelydude92 they weren't trying to eat her baby, they were trying to eat her placenta.

  • @ReachDeep1 ahaha oo.. ok.. that doesnt realli make it any better..

  • DAMMIT, I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DEBATE LIKE THIS NONSTOP ON YOUTUBE!!! YOU JACKTARDS SHOULD BECOME POLITICIANS IF YOU LOVE ARGUING SO MUCH!!!

  • @pokedudewithglasses yYelling on the internets will certainly improve this damnable state of affairs...

  • "if you're so convinced that you're a primate, why don't you live with a gorilla clan?"

So if a crocodile is convinced he is related to alligators, he should go hang out with one? God, one fallacy after another.

  • @AdHominus well said

  • are there ANY chimpanzee videos on youtube that do not contain pity arguments on creation, religion, god or science? Just watch the chimps! Who asked for your 'unique' opinion?!

  • @rickardo004 THANK YOU! FINALLY! SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT HE'S ON ABOUT!

  • @rickardo004 it's an integral point against creationism br0 get over it

  • @rickardo004 I agree just enjoy the video

  • @rickardo004 don't mind us, we're just sick of seeing people who can't live without reling on them

  • @necromanti actually we did evolve from primates so don't try and act all smart

  • what the name of this special i want to watch the whole thing

    thanks

  • @PurpleFade10 obvious troll is obvious

  • that mother chimp fifi is EATING her own afterbirth? I've never been more repulsed by apes than I am now after watching that...

  • @animationeer SOME humans do it. its a very natural thing

  • @Thechallen ugh...they do? are you one of them? cause I've NEVER heard about humans eating their own afterbirth, unless it's some primal tribe from Africa...tell me, what "humans" are you referring to?

  • @animationeer do you have any idea how much protein is in that shit? they eat it to regain their strength after the birthing. i guarantee they probably dont even like it.

  • Um, okay.

  • omfg that's gross

  • adverts on the bbc????? what the fuck is this shit?

  • God dammit, i cant believe no one is acting against the chimps!

  • Fifi's here to give birth and kick ass!!

    And she's already given birth...

  • @jimmyboo12 LOL

  • Looks exactly like my friend Fuad:D

  • why

  • Because they are the most agressive and biggest pos's if you compare them to any other wild animal in any local zoo; they routinely bite off (YES OFF) fingers of scientists and people that study them; they rip off fucking faces of people; they are built to fuck u up - huge fang teeth, extremely powerful claws, and have the strength equivalent of over 5x of a human being; i left work today at nighttime and on the sidewalk next to me was a big fat deer; the deer didn't attack; i like deers :)

  • LOL....i have never seen a fat deer before haha...

  • I was actually on a boat safari thing when I was 6 with my school.. I wondered why the boat had a massive cage on it..

When we got around to the guerilla (i think it was guerilla) there was massive bang noise off the side of the boat.. When I looked over there were 3 of these massive guerillas throwing all sorts of rocks and logs at the boat

Been sceptical about them ever since lol definitely not friendly animals

  • they bite off the fingers of people who disturb them. they want their fucking space. it's not much to ask.

  • Yeah see how it feels when you got no thumbs after an encounter and find it difficult to even pick up a glass of water; go ahead try right now; pick up a glass of water without your thumb; you like it? huh?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not the one with a chimp in my house, fool.

  • Not every scientist who has studied chimps has been mauled by them. Case in point: Jane Goodall.

It's about time you tuned in to "Chimp Eden" on animal planet and educated yourself on how kind and nurturing chimps can be, when you win them over with SELFLESS love.

You cage them, give them fucking Xanax and then expect them to treat you right? Hell, no!!!

  • @TraumaER i dont know what you lot are debating on but depending on the shape its easy ;D

  • @GigantGatlingGun IS that English?

  • @TraumaER what is? o.o

  • @GigantGatlingGun man go do your homework lol and stop replying to me

  • @TraumaER ehhh oh your talking about my grammer and wirting n shit..... WOW dude... this is youtube.. im nto gonna get rewards for proper english... when the time come ill write in proper english.... damn.. ^_^ (Y)

  • @TraumaER I picked it up pretty easy by using my Index and Middle finger. Sure my finger was in the water but i still did it.

  • @TraumaER what does this video have to do with thumbs?

  • @TraumaER

    I just did it.

    FUCK YOUR COUCH.

  • @GnomeGuardian your attitude is insufficient; you have no honour or discipline to post on here

  • @TraumaER

    :(

    I have no disciprinu.

  • Sad that you don't want to preserve a wild animal that is endangered. Very sad.

  • I like chimps. They're our closest cousin, next to the orangutan because they're more intelligent.

  • Gorillas are closer to us than they are to orangutans. Chimps are closer to us than they are to other apes. Interesting eh, when folks lump all apes together. Plant of the apes got it wrong in that sense, especially the modern one.....if the other apes became civilized then they would view us as apes too....apes with long legs, short arms, and a naked appearance (only real physical difference).

  • you wouldn't like it so much after you hear about the story where a chimp tore a woman's face apart. did you see it on Oprah?

  • It wasn't the chimp's job to like its owner. It was a wild animal that acted on its natural instincts after being caged for most of its life. Even the poor victim whose face was ripped apart was intelligent enough to conclude that chimps and exotics shouldn't be kept at home.

Take her example and please make more educated comments in the future.

  • dogs are clever animals so they made the humans friends to share the profits,,

    also cuts,,,

  • Meat in general.

  • Meat in general is brain food. Fish maybe even more so, but animal tissue in general has essential proteins that helped us grow our brain. When our first ancestors started hunting, the meat they ate in the savannahs contributed to the increase in brain size. Of course the members of our family tree who lived near the coast obviously used fish as a substitution for game in the african plain.

But yeah I don't disagree that fish has its own benefits, especially compared to red meat.

  • My dog has learned with reward reinforcement only. Dogs are just 'that way.' 1-3-year-old chimp will do the same. Beyond 3, and you must get rough with them. 5-8-years, they refuse all reinforcement, so it's into a cage, off to a lab, or shot dead. Shot dead seems terrible, but likely the most humane option. Zoos mostly won't take 'tamed' apes. They need free-roam preserves to exist. No Human contact.

  • ROFL "dogs are just that way"

because people done what your moaning about for generations (keeping them as pets breeding etc).

untill its become their nature to be tame.

  • Top: Yes, you are correct. Dogs are naturally tamed. They like humans, and humans like them. That's the way they are.

  • I have a chimp that talks !!

  • Even basing this on an "average man" who does not work out, he should still be able to press more or less his own weight.

Thus a Gorrila should be able to press between 1750 and 2800 lbs.

That means that these beasts should be able to toss cars around like toys.

  • Why didn't the mother cut the umbilical cord? ...and did she eat her baby?

  • If you idiots who believe in the Genesis creation myth prefer a more emotionally based argument, I ask you to look at the faces, expressions, mannerisms, and EMOTIONS of these primates. They are so like us that it's almost frightening.

  • CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS

  • We did not evolve "from" primates because we ARE primates. To say that we are not related to them at all is ignorant because all primates share a common ancestor, albeit a very distant one.

Before you try to argue the superiority of humans, learn how to spell awareness and consciousness, as ignorance and a lack of an education tend to go hand in hand.

Also, souls do not exist. It is this sense of "superiority" that makes people think they can exploit the world, and all other life forms on it.

  • @necromanti Thankyouthankyouthankyou. I was just telling my husband, "It boggles my mind, how people can deny the connection and reality between us and these guys."

  • @necromanti Facts require observement. You need to observe this happening to consider it fact. Scientist havn't.

  • @necromanti Very astute comment , bro !

  • @necromanti couldn't have said it better.

  • @necromanti why not quit it.. you're wasting your time, this will never be solved no matter it's true or not and until your saliva turned to blood it'll never be solved so just let us believe what we believe in.

  • @necromanti

something that humans have that primates don't have is culture. primates can't form culture. there is no symbolic meaning to the way they do things. they dont celebrate birthdays, they don't have weddings, etc.

they don't have virtues either. humans can feel and express love, hope and faith. sometimes people train monkeys for YEARS and then one day they go berserk and rip the owner's face apart.

if you're so convinced that you're a primate, why don't you live with a gorilla clan?

  • @12zuzus Regardless of the fact that we have ceremonies and cultures, humans are still the biggest parasites on Earth.

  • @12zuzus "primates don't have is culture."

Wrong. There was a documented chimpanzee group who did a ceremonial 'vine swing' next to a waterfall. Not to mention that each troop receives food differently and uniquely with tools.

"sometimes people train monkeys for YEARS and then one day they go berserk and rip the owner's face apart"

Some parents spend YEARS raising their children and then one day they get killed by their child.

And of course there is the genetic/archaeological evidence.

  • @necromanti All that spiritual and soul stuff is a primitive understanding of everything, kinda like your 5 senses

  • @necromanti I'd like to pipe up for the bad spellers, inept typists, hurried scriveners and dyslexics here. There is no relation between these things and ignorance. To assume so, is well ignorant. That said - you're dead on about the rest of it. Carry on.

  • @necromanti do you not have a heart or something idiot?

  • @necromanti do you not have a heart fool?

  • Actually, never mind. I just saw that you had said that "evolution makes no sense".

I would recommend that you do more research on the subject if you find that creationism is more logical than evolution. I suppose faith trumps evidence every time in the realm of ignorance. That is not even a matter of religion, because the majority of the logical, religious people embrace evolution.

  • they are not cute, they are fucking ugly no matter what age, uglier than any other primate,we didn't evolve from chimps evolution goes in branches.. they are not primitive they are a diff species, that i just so happen to dislike, they are kinda in the range of cockroaches to me.. cause i just don't like them

  • Mmm.. Nothing like a warm placenta for breakfast!

  • i like to see a chimp with a afro that would be cool

  • darylghghgh: They're cool with their fine long caucasoid hair. I like the red haired chimps.

  • Ott vagy Te is a majmok között! :D

  • THIS VIDEO IS A FAKE. Chimps are dangerous animals and kill people. It is impossible to film real monkeys, because they kill people. These are just puppets.

  • chimps are NOT dangerous animal. They won't harm humans unless we do something to make them feel we are a threat.

  • CERTAIN species of chimps are violent. And all species are protective. But if it trusts you AND you approach it the right way chimps are very close to humans.

According to genetics. Human and chimp genes are 99% similar.

  • Comment removed

  • haha are you serious?? those are some damm good puppets wow...get away from your tv every so often

  • LMFAO!!!! this has to be a joke

  • You're stupid. Very stupid. Humans are the most dangerous apes, and chimps are usually docile unless provoked. In this setting they likely have lots of protection and security to keep them safe.

  • humans are not apes btw

  • No but we are related to them.

  • There are 12 MILLION years between us and chimps. We are far remove from these primitive apes.

  • And? Our DNA is 98% the same to these chimps we should look after them they are still basically people.

  • Your genetic knowledge is rather basic & twenty odd years out of date.A chimp is about 80% genetically the same as a human,12 million years seperate us from chimps.Basically people!!!

Chimps are animals, indeed many animals are more intelligent then Chimps,Corvids leave leave Chimps for dead, suppose their "basically people"?

  • Comment removed

  • 98% = very little. Or else that 2% extra is the most important part of the DNA.

Each species uses the DNA differently. Humans have very little more in common with a chimp than with a clever dog if you go strictly by behaviors. A mouse shares about 90% DNA with Humans. A brocolli is about 50%. Yet, Humans neither appear nor behave like either.

  • Fly:

I believe that it is 7M years since any possible branching off.

In light of Pres. Obama's budget, 7M seems mere pocket change. But in fact, if one began counting to 7M, in 1-second increments, it would take 81-days to count to 7M. And, that is non-stop counting, both day and night. I hope that sheds some light on just how long 7M is. Yes, chimp & Human share only very basic, primitive behaviors. The same behaviors can be found in many mammals other than Human.

  • Yes we are, unless you know some new form of taxonomy, unknown to the worlds biologists, zoologists and primatologists?

  • Docile unless provoked,Gorillas perhaps certainly not chimps, chimps are vicious animals.

  • i like watching videos about apes because they remind me much of humans. id never get near a chimp though, theyre insane

  • were the baboons tryin to kill the baby?

  • No, they could smell the blood and wanted to eat the placenta, which is not what the baby was in inside the womb but rather the organ that nourishes the baby in the womb. It grows on the Uterus and provides oxygen and nourishment to the baby.

  • ohhh right, i thought because the baby was a different kind of monkey to them they ( the babboons) would try to kill it.

i understand now though thank you for answering my question :)

  • she didnt eat the bbaby dumbass she did somthing worse. she ate what the baby was in when itwas inside the mom

    gross

  • Takarodo: You think that is worse some humans too eat their babies placenta or someone else's baby's placenta. Check on this channels: cooking up placenta. Placenta eating and this

    watch?v=5Q9zgt7gilw

Those 3 channels will show you we still have that animalistic instinct in us

  • exactly, watching bizzare foods with andrew zimmern shows exactly what the rest of the world considers food and poorer nations usually leave nothing to waste

  • You think eating the placenta (which in essence is like eating liver or another organ, it's full of nourishment) is worse than eating the baby? My goodness.

  • jeez, NONE of these comments are even about the video! But anyways, that was very unexpected when she ate her baby!

  • Comment removed

  • yeah right, you just got cancer in the nuts and youre afraid of going to hell

  • Comment removed

  • The chimpanzees are so clever to eat their placenta!

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, chimps are ugly as hell but fascinating.

  • there so fucking cute

  • Humans were never Chimps? How do you come to that conclusion? All aminal life on earth derive from two sources of DNA! The odds are that chimps and humans crossed paths?

  • Humans are apes but were never chimps. They do share the same ancestors as chimps though

  • We share 98% DNA! Close enough for me!!

  • The chimp sanctuary "business" keeps plugging the 98%. That really means very little other than a statistic. DNA is used differently in each species. Similar DNA does not = near same. A mouse shares 90% DNA with Humans, but we look nothing like mice, just as there is little real comparison with chimps. That isn't a bad thing. Just a fact.

  • Thanks--gotta check that out!! Yes I agree it is a business!

  • Geneticallly chimps are more similar to us then they are too gorillas.

  • Bailey: So what does that have to do with the price of rice in China? They are still chimpanzee (Pan Troglodyte).

  • What? Nobody even mentioned the price of rice of China, where did that come from?

How incredibly random, we were talking about chimpansees, gorillas, humans and DNA's and you talk about the price of rice in China?

  • So, pick up a copy of "Night of the Iguana." Read it. It'll explain everything. Basically, an answer to nonsense & misguided do-gooders of all sorts.

  • So what does that have to do with the price of rice in China?

  • Congratulations! You do understand.

  • Lol..The price of rice in china is just a saying meaning "what does that have to do with anything"

  • Well as a non-native that's something new to me.

  • Yea, just letting you know..he doesnt mean it literally.

  • i love all monkeys

  • I can only assume you agreed to believe a pretend man made the planet in 7 days just so you can go to a pretend place called "heaven"? Those "lies" have more scientific proof than Jesus and any other bullshit you pull from your book.

  • yeah boy. we and chimps belong to the same tribe - hominini, we branched from the common ancestor about 7 million years ago, and then we (human line) spent another 5 million years running around on two legs, getting our asses kicked by them until we learned how to make a stone axe. and then a gun.

chimps, baboons, whatever, LOOK WHO'S BOSS NOW!

    didn't expect that huh?

  • I'm presuming that you were joking. Chimps are not tribes, but loosely spread groups called "troops." Humans were never chimp (Pan Troglodyte). We supposedly have a common ancestor, though specimen has never been found. Very interesting...Humans "hit the ground running" about 100K years ago, and just kept going. There is something very different and special in Humans. You can be proud of your species. There is and never was anything like you on this planet (maybe the Galaxy, too).

  • humans did NOT belong in the same tribe with chimpanzees. chimpanzees were never human and they never belong in the genus homo either. GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT and probably you need a education in anthropology. there was a split between humans and apes million of years ago. WE ARE NOT related to chimpanzees by DNA. AND NO. they our considered to be our common ancestors because they share 99% human traits.

  • Humans ARE apes.

Under the current classification system there are two families of hominoids:

    - the family Hylobatidae consists of 4 genera and 14 species of gibbon, including the Lar Gibbon and the Siamang, collectively known as the lesser apes.

    - the family Hominidae consisting of chimpanzees, gorillas, humans and orangutans collectively known as the great apes.

  • Your analysis is correct. But it is simply for purposes of classification in study of Primatology/Anthropology. It simplifies discussion and other scholarly fare. Humans were never chimps. There are far more differences than similarities, and I think that is what people here want to know. No. Humans were never chimps.

GM builds Cadillacs and Pontiacs, too. But, there is no comparison.

    I'll take the Cadillac.

  • Comment removed

  • Those Chimps would rip the Baboon apart.

  • Chimpanzees do what they have to do to survive in the wild. There is many unanswered questions as far as I am concerned.

  • dam you bamboos

  • thats fucking cute!!!

  • omg the baby is sooooo adorable

  • Actually, they're sizing it up for a possible meal. Chimps can be, and are, cannibals. Take a look at "Protecting the Babies."

  • eat the placenta!

  • those baboons are assholes!

  • A lot of these nature filmers will create dramatic scenarios to capture on film, otherwise they don't get paid by the big nature channel bosses. Not everything we get to see really came to be the way it is presented to us. A chimpanzee mother for example, would never have a baby in the vicinity of a baboon, if it were really that dangerous. Which it is.

  • Yeah you bring up a good point, but it's still interesting to see how they react to the situations.

  • wow! pretty cool after having just read "in the shadow of man" jane and hugo were an amazing team.

  • ins't that a bonobo????? their chimps too.

  • bonobos and chimps are two different species.

  • Yummy
