  • Hello!! Is this still going on?? I just rescued a pit/chow? mix from a shelter and she desperately needs help with agitation... if this is still happening I will bring her next week! Thank you so much for doing what you do..

  • It's a good thing you doing man, it defiantly is the owner not the dog. I have a pit and my sister is law does as well, there litter mates, 3yo. My dog is incredibly well behaved and obedient, and hers does not listen at all and sometimes even attacks my dog. It's because my brother plays incredibly rough and they never draw the line when she gets to rough so she thinks its ok, all around she is just trained wrong, including almost never being walked. I sneak her on walks with me, lol.

  • So glad I found this video, I live in LA and I'm about to get a xxl blue pit and I want proper training without payin arm and leg, good job btw so e doesn't pull me all over

  • Thanks for doing it right!

  • Yes everyone, the training is still going on and it is still free, please come out if you need help! Im one of the co trainers

  • Please let me know if you are still doing the training on Sundays. I need help!

  • Do you still have training I have a blue training to be a service dog I'd like to come by and continue her training I came by looking couldn't find it what part of the area you guys meet at thanks

  • any breed needs the proper upbringing and right training.. pitbulls are very loving breeds.. great job sir...

  • Amen, wish their were more activities like this and more people promoting the positives of responsible Bully ownership. Hope you still have this program active or have trained others to continue your legacy. GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER! Your East Coast Bully lover~ Prada for Pits. Just starting out my channel, soon doing an outreach to my old neighborhood Newark NJ. Again, Kudos to ya!

  • i have a enlish bull terrier wanna take it, its a little roudy with males but was not always like this are the classes still available and if so are there any reuirements

  • @NME712 Sorry for the late reply, the class is still every Sunday about 9:30am unless there is an event. Just bring a strong leash and your dog needs to be at least 4 months old and had its vaccinations.

  • Brilliant, we need more people like this in the world to protect these wonderful dogs!

  • @alexer1219 Every Sunday about 9:00am unless there is an event.

  • Are you still doing this? I would love to come down with Shogun Comacho X! You speak our language brother.

  • @iamgodan Every Sunday about 9:15am unless there is an event at the Coliseum.

  • this is a very good thing!

  • does this training work

  • i need a lot of help on my pitbull shes like a couple months old like 4 or 5

and we havent taken her out much cause we couldnt till we got all

her shots and when we finally could take her out for walks and such

when she sees other dogs she goes crazy liike she crys and

wants to go near them but im scared to let them near her i dont know what she

  • please let me know where i can crop my pitt's ears

  • hey bro do u know where i can go to crop my pitt's ears please let me know.

  • RESPECT

  • Do you have a website? Also, I know the last person asked this too, but that was a couple months ago, still doing the training at the Coliseum? I've got two pits, one who is an angel with a few recently acquired bad habits and a puppy who needs to practice his training with distractions around.

  • @gienahb Don't have a website. The class is still on going every Sunday unless there is an event at the Coliseum or Sports Arena.

  • Razors Edge, Gottiline , GrayLines, XXL, Red Rum and Monster G line, Remyline, Marcuslines are not APBTS, PITS, PITBULLS that is fact. FUCK any moron that fight dogs don't work them out in Weight pulling, Hunting, and Personal Protection. But people really need to understand the truth. These Bloodlines are new and different type of breed. It is call American Bully/Bullies. This tagging paper work with UKC and ADBA need to stop.

  • What if the dog is mixed Pitbull with German Shepherd????

  • this is very noble and generous deed homie. I wish i lived closer.

  • I have a 8 wk blue nose. Does this still take place. I dont live far, Please reply, im very intrested. I have kids and I want my dog to be cool with them.

  • no, you have an 8 week old Blue, they are not blue noses.

  • yes he actually has a dark blue almost like dark purple, with blue eyes.

  • no man, look, I know it has a blue nose, but thats not what they are called. They are just called blues....I know they call red nose red nose, but a blue nose dog is just a blue...I should know..I have a kennel. I raise blue. IM not trying to be a smartass.

  • Is This Still Taking Place?

  • dose this still exist? is it ok if shes only 3 months old?

  • Yea the training is still happening. I just went a few weeks ago.

  • Hey man, what you're doing is a GREAT thing. I wish we had more people in the US willing to donate their time and effort for such a good cause.

  • Hi Everyone, just wanted to say I have a 2 year old pitbull name Prophet. He's the best thing to happen to me. He lives with cats and he loved to play with them. We do everything together and he loves affection. I wish I lived closer to you Dog man. I'm out here in Woonsocket RI and it's getting bad around here with pitbull bans. Oh as most of you know already pitbull can snore really loud. Lmao. Ps keep up the good work..

"Blame The Deed Not The Breed."

  • how old do they have to be

  • save the breed

  • that is a great man in that video. wish i could come out and help as well. they have such a bad rep.

  • is this still going on??

  • Yes unless there is an event at the Coliseum.

  • How old does your pit have to be to be able to attend? and do you expect some form of basic training? such as sit , stay or do you guys help with that there? Id like to come by and check out a session.

  • but i wanna teach my pitbull to bite any1 that comes to my yardd

    how i do that??

  • pits are not the best guard dog. if you want a dog that was meant for attacking humans get a german shepard. all pits who bite was put down due to the masters not wanting to be bite from pulling the dogs apart. so biting humans was breed out of them. they are not natural human attack dogs. all dogs have a tendancy to watch over thier masters property with no training needed. So you do not have to train a pit or lab to be mean and aggresive. They will know what thier area is.

  • thank you

  • WORD

  • PLEASE STOP IGNORANCE. Any dog can learn to be aggressive towards humans. It starts with very small signs of aggression that go unnoticed by the owner and then develops into serious problems.

Then one day some kid gets mauled, and the owners say "HE JUST SNAPPED". Dog's don't just snap, if you're going to own a dog that can be dangerous you have to be willing to go the whole 9 yards and do it right.

  • pittbulls are not bad dogs its the stupid ass owners!!

  • do u still do classes ?

  • are you still having classes??

  • that's awsome pitbulls are really sweet tho when ever u feel down they come to u n lick ur tears away lol

  • I'm curious too, is the training still going on?

  • remember this comment cuz in 3 years when i move to LA from miami bre u can exspect to hear fro me

  • Aye is this still going down? if so does it matter what age the dog is? because I know they're a little more difficult to train as they get older! let me know man! thanx bro.....I have a 1 year 7mth old male and a 2 1/2 month old female that I wanna take up there! get at me!

  • jimmy wtf r u trying to say man, u make no damn sense.

  • Comment removed

  • this is great! I have two that I adopted!

  • good work on educating people about the breed for free !!

  • To hear someone talk about the PitBull like this is world class. I love this breed as well. I plain on breeding in the future but there will be contracts with certified papers. As a future breeder, all owner and breeders need to come together to protect this breed. Again thank you for standing out and God bless.

    JMH

    Proud APBT Owner

  • big*bullyclub*com thanks for helping out the breed. You are a good man! :)

  • WoW!! FREE??!! I jus got my blue nose puppy last Sunday. Ima bring mine through. Its bouto be 5 months on the 8th of January

  • Awesome. As a professional trainer of 1000's of dogs over the yrs, I still am taken aback by the bad rap some breeds get, given the fact that many "all american breeds" do some very unacceptable things and don't get the rap.... yet it all comes back to the responsibility of proper training, & a good "family" environment.

Thank you for stepping out & getting the good stuff out there about this breed!

Proud owner of a Weirmaraner & Malinois & trainer of many Pit Bulls!

  • On behalf of all RESPONSIBLE Pitbull owners & advocates, Thank You! Fortunately for us, they're the best all-around & most loyal breed making them very popular. But 2/3 of the people who own them are ignorant & know DICK about dogs! Let alone Pitbulls! I'm just glad to see someone doin somethin positive 4 the breed. So thx man. Im sure all good breeders and owners will agree. those who fight pits, THERE WONT BE ANYMORE IN 10 YEARS IF YOU KEEP IT UP! SAVE the breed, EUTHANIZE the people!

  • hey im so glad you do this but where can we reach you i have a few questions please reply please you will help me a lot thank you !!! =]

  • U nailed it , it is'nt the dogs its the owners, good job

  • i understand what you mean by pitbulls are not bullies. but we dont mean bullies as dogs who scare other dogs. we mean bully breeds as dogs coming from bulldogs. theyre still registered as amstaff and american pitbull. but we have our on new look of dogs...

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!! this man tells no lies..open your ears!

  • This guy knows his stuff!

  • keep doin what your doin homey.

  • Respect. That kind of initiative is doing more good for the pitbulls than 1000 copycat "watch pit bulls play with toddlers and fuck BSL" youtube videos put together. The kind of service you are offering are in much need these days.

  • What you're doing is awesome!!

  • Wow, you are doing a lot for the Pit Bulls!! Thank you!!

Here in Brazil BSL has just started, its so sad. Too many irresponsible owners, sensationalist media and stupid laws!

Pit Bulls are lovelly! Just as any other breed! Congrats Dog Man!

  • Man!I appreciate what ur doing...Im glad some one is using their talent for GOOD.

    MR.Gwinnett

  • im so happy to see someone giving their own time to help others learn. teaching others how to protect there pit. what yur doing is amazing bro! "ALTRUISTIC" im in vegas with highly trained doberman. congratz on being an excellent owner trainer and human being!

  • i hate when people blame pitbulls for fighting when its the owners fault.. i have 2 bluenose pitbulls and never had a problem with them once.. keep up the good work man.

  • your awesome man keep up the great work.I love my pits their great loyal dogs

  • I agree with you,the bad name is because of idiot owners.Every dog as a different personality.I noticed as a former pit bull owner the pit bull,is a very calm dog,but like any other dog you have to learn his personality.Youre doing a great thing.

  • It's really great what your doing to your community 5 stars

  • It's terrific that people are putting so much effort into training Pit Bulls! We need to change the bad reputation that these wonderful animals have.

  • I doubt this guy has been training pit bulls for 35 years. If he was in business for 35 years, he would speak in a more professional way. He would have to if he was doing business with people for that long. He puts on this tough talk attitude, more like a street person. He doesn't seem the least bit professional.

  • I appreciate your comments, and want you to know that you are correct, he is not a professional dog trainer. He doesn't charge any of us to be in his class. He loves dogs, and lives in one of the most violent areas of LA where dog fighting, abuse and neglect is common. He is not college educated, but has street smarts, which some of the men in the class can relate to, therefore, they get interested in working with their dogs in a positive way, instead of beating and chaining the dogs 24/7.

  • smrgrl5: your are judging him by the way he talks?? correct me if im wrong but i really doubt the dogs care that he has an urban accent. what a great man for offering dog lessons and you are here talking about him sounding "street".

  • good guy + good work, well done! we need to save this wonderful breed!! xxx

  • I admire that... free training for pitbulls every sunday... CHURCH!!!

  • totally agree with you my friend, Its the evil people who train these amazing dogs to fight are the ones who should be put down.

    Great work & great speech!

  • keep up the good work you do i agree its not the animal its the human

  • great video great cause great work

  • DogMan, thank you for your courageous effort to save the pit bull dog.

In the city of Los Angeles, 15,000 pit bull dogs are picked up off the streets every year. 800 a week are being euthanized in Los Angeles County.

Not only must we teach the proper handling of these dogs, we must stop breeding more of them!

  • THANK YOU DOG MAN!

  • Great philosophy on how to solve the problem of dangerous dogs.

Please keep up the good work.

    Thanks for the video!

  • Pitbull are great dogs-

  • Wow, I think this is one of the best videos here, I think what your saying is wonderful!

It gets on my nerves how people blame the breed, and not the person who owns them.

  • Thank YOU!! for this video and message...we love all dogs...:)

  • I am a student in Dog Man's class every Sunday for the past two years. The people and the dogs that he works with are the ones that often are not accepted by other classes. I should know, I have brought many of my rescued unsocialized pit bulls to his class. By the end of several weeks, not only are the dogs more social, they can't wait to come to class, and all of my dogs get so excited when they see that we are pulling into the parking lot. Support Dog Man's work, come out to class!

  • Amen!! Thanks for that very important information...Pitt bulls are definetly misunderstood and their not for everyone..My daughter has one and it is the most gently and smartest dog I have ever seen, and he is a handful! He is very powerful and commands lots of exercise!

  • tout simplement merci d'aimer les animaux

  • What a wonderful thing to do. I love pit bulls and I hate that they are so misunderstood. Thank you for what you are doing!

  • you are Great!!!!!!wish you were closer

  • YES! PIT BULLS ROCK! THANK YOU! <3

  • Absoulutely the bestdog. You know I wish there where more places like that. I agree if you never owned one you need to find out if it is the right dog for you. Good video!

  • YES! YES AND YES! It is the same as guns don't kill people, people kill people. Pits, Rotts and the like do not attack people, or other dogs. They are trained this way. Only bad owners make bad dogs! I too raised Rotts, and they were children loving, people happy, and NEVER ate or attacked anyone, not even a spider. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! Someday...we can pray, the good message and good "fight" will win for these great pets.

  • Need more people like you. It is not the breed it's the people. Thank you so much. There wonderful dogs.

  • There are so many pitbulls being "put down" .. or as they say .."put to sleep" ..

    They are inmnocent beings ..

I would rather we put the sad .. pathetic arseholes that breed them for profit down .. anyone with me here???

  • that's so tru...is not the pits it's the owners... nice video...& that's really nice what you do for the dogs! :)

  • Thank you. I hope I can get the word out here, becaue we have alot of fighters here and I totally agree its the ownner. I dedcatd my video Through Their Eyes. To a Pit bull I name agngel I promised him I would love him foever, I asked him to forgive us and then he was GASSED TO DEATH! Contact me if you would so I can get more in fo one this and hand this over to see if we can get a trainer here. I am in New mexico, town that is very many people. BYe for now with loe from Carol PEAACE!

  • You Rock Sharky. Very Nice!

  • God bless you, man, I love you! You make so much sense and speak the truth. Thank you so much for what you are doing. I am going to email the hell out of this video to everyone I know, this needs to get out there!

  • Excellent video. Way to go, PitForLife!

    Cheers, John (bestjonbon)

  • keep up the good work yes they are great dogs just bad owners!!!! save the pits

  • Breed bans are bad. I was denied a rental in TX because I had two rottweilers. I asked the lady why and she said they are "always in the paper for bad things". I asked if they rent to black people and she said "of course". I said "well they too are always in the paper for bad things." I was asked to leave..hehe

I hope you get the intent of what I was saying to this ignorant person. Breed bans are as bad as being prejudiced against people. Dogs need to be trained and I applaud your efforts.

  • Fantastic idea !!

  • Good work! My son-in-law has a pitbull that I trust with my grandson. I have never known a pitty before, and I am here to say that she is a gentle, loving old thing. I walked her recently and was sad to see all the people that crossed to the other side of the street when they saw us coming. Shame on the media. If they succeed in banning pitbulls, what breed will be next??

  • Let's not ban breeds. Let's ban irresponsible dog breeders and irresponsible dog ownership instead.

  • WOW! We need you in Houston, TX. A lot of pit bull owners out here -- including me. I found one shot and starving, ambling down the street. She's the gentlest soul, but very high energy now that she's healthy. She's not at all dangerous, but people don't like seeing her at the dog park. She would benefit so much from having a place to learn, exercise, and socialize, and I know there's much for me to learn, too.

Please keep up the great work (and consider branching out to Houston!).

  • It is so good that he stated,(paraprase)"Don't

ban the dog, ban the onwner who teaches to fight." Pitbulls, an inclusive term for several breeds, are really fine dogs. And peaple need to be educated! Wish there were more like him. Would like to see him in action with the dogs. Thanks DoggieTV &

    PitforLife. - Penny

  • If you have a pit bull and live in the Los Angeles area then don't deprive your dog of this great free training and agility class.
