@sonnyboyy1 The beat of the song isn't whats important here, if they are able to enter into the presence of God through this music then they have done their job. I do prefer Kim Walkers version on this song but I think they did a good job in their own way.

You are correct MrMatf, but! this is not blues, the vocals are well mic'd and you cannot expect all drummers to hold back their talent, i can give wooden spoons to a 10 year old to hold a beat, but to give the song a good sound and beat it takes personality, not only by the drummers but by the guitarists. Also the percussion if any.

Soooooooo drummer compared to who the greatest are on drummers world Become the greatest worshipper,you can play like this too pratice. He's over playing a bit you don't have to play all those fills to make it sound good ,we call that in blues music stepping on the vocals.the point is forget all that technical stuff learn to worship that will last for eternity

@MrMatf So what your saying is this drummer who is incredibly talented should throw some of the technical things he's learned (that make him such a good player in the first place) right out the window? You are the kind of person that makes me hate worship music because you feel it should be restricted to not be "showy" A.K.A. show that the musician is actually talented. I play in a worship band for my school and we are restricted in this way and it takes all the enjoyment out of the worship.

@MrMatf and also... my own opinion is that worship is def top priority... but at the same time God has given us talents so that we can use them to their full extent to Glorify Him.. not bury them in a religous mindset that tells us it honors God to not display the talent He has given us to Glorify Him... to whom much is given much is expected ya kno... thats like telling the Vocals not to ad lib at all... Personaly its either go hard or go home.. GB :)

The Key is B (I think, thats pretty bad when I'm the lead guitarist of my band and don't know what key its in. Lol). The chords are Bm (Bm7) A (Asus) and Em (Emadd9) those are the chords my band uses in parenthesis. Also there's an F# in there to. It's a really simple song, although I bet you don't need me to tell you that. =]
