Looks great fun, I've got Garratt Park down the road from me may have to give it a go one day. When I was a kid I used to race round the old Morden Park track

I used to do cycle speedway 30 years ago in the northwest and loved every minute of it. It hasn't changed much at all by the looks of it.

Yes body blocking is legal in the sport, you can put your body into another rider and you can lean on them round them bend if needs be. There are certain rules though. =]
