I'm sure he did have brakes and clutch covered. And I'm sure he did slow down as he approached the intersection. But sometimes not even that can help you avoid someone running a red light.

So I guess, sorry for not clarifying! The cop has to presume that guy isn't going to stop... if you look at him, he is stiff as a board just looking straight ahead... Pay attention, look left n right as you approach cause it'll be easy to spot a guy that is going to run it and that isn't paying attention...! :D
