To those of you who are pessimistic when seeing this:
You're right. This Lego creation alone won't do anything. It won't power a car, but you're forgetting one very important thing. This is where it begins. Young minds like his is the start of a new era. Thinking in new ways that other people could never have imagined. A cleaner, green era that begins with little Lego creations like this.
Thank you! Finally some one who gets the point of people my age playing with legos! Most little kids 5-12 play with legos for fun. Usually past 12 it becomes an entirely different learning expeience!
What size reservoir do you use to power the two pistons, is it the lego one or a custom made tank? Have you figure out the optimal pressure for the system?
It's a pill bottle. Uh, Ive tries different models and the v3 is the fastest. I'm not quite sure, but I think this one is the optimal for speed and power.
most people who play with this stuff turn into marvellous inventers that may oneday fix our fossil fuel crisis and all other problems like that. Take a look at the first car ever built, it looks like junk but spawned alot of stuff you rely on today. So stop the numb brain criticism and think about what your looking at.
Any plans on doing instructions for this, even if they are very basic it would still be nice. i have something i would like to put this engin in. thanks.
Now hook it up to a real compressor & watch the fun!

No one ever drove Formula 1 races with LEGO engines. This one is for fun,not for actual usage.

lol. I've said this to many people. It's "version 2" not a V2. This one is the 2nd version out of 3 that I made.
TopARO 3 years ago
