Brothers and sisters all…thanks for the thumbs-up hits… We can all mellow out to this great song with its uplifting, rhythmical, sweet, smooth, soul sound.
Rollin' hard with this jam back in the day. Hittin' Mission Street SF, and King & Story SJ Cali in my Red 63 SS Impala with White Top. Rollin' on 520's with buffed White Wall, lifted! I'll be a rida till I die! Oldies and the classic cars will always be in my blood! A mad shout out to all my homies is SSF califas.

For yall people that don't know im the son of this great man farther and best friend i've ever had my dad wrote this song but didnt get credit for it bob moore is not the artist of this song it's my dad "Chico" It's crazy how bob moor says searching for my love featuring "Chico"and he is the one that wrote the dam song but my dad havent for got how that guy really double cross him back then but all is well and he still write and plays his music for which he love's so much today Thanks ....
@whodini38able If you are who you say (not sayin you aren't, but people make up shit like this all the time), that's a damn shame. I always thought Bob Moore wrote it and Chico sang it. Can you tell us more about the band and about your dad?
ANOTHER SONG LIKE I FOUND A LOVE THIS SONG WAS BEAUTIFUL AND WHEN YOU LOST YOUR GIRL YOU STARTED SEARCHING FOR ANOTHER ONE AS SOON AS YOUR HEART WOULD LET YOU.
This is one hot number, I do love the Bobby Womack version the best. What a great way to open a show & drive the audiance wild! I would love to see more of my faves cover it (Mic Jaegger, Bruno Miars, Usher, BlackEyedPeas would do this so awesome! Thanks for sharing this.
Don't read this cuz it actually works. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday from the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life: however if you don't post his to over three videos you will die within two days. Now that you started reading this don't stop. This is so scary! Post this to over 5 videos in 143 minutes. When your done press F6 and your crush's name will appear on the screen in big letter's this is so scary but it really works.
i remember this song blasting down at revere beach and i was too short to ride the cyclone rollercoaster so i sat and waited till my dad and older sister and cousins finished the ride but i went home hurt but this song has been in my head from then on
have respeto for yourself come on now the oldies are for everyone thats what they were made for everyone that needed to here them so they will bring back firme memories about your teenage years or just growing up in this new life style
this song beats the cake well , first time i listen this made me fill up and tall and cool to with the girls i met, i still play the same song over and over the same filling hits me back with memories that i lived
@lkn4bling I"m from Montgomery, Al & I remember this band very well. It was more like 1963-64. Bob Moore had a record shop @ the corner of High & Jackson St. I grew up in Victor Tulane Courts (the projects) & walked pass the record shop on the way to school. Bob's son, Larry Moore played the saxaphone in this band while in high school. They also played other clubs called the Afro Club,(top floor of the Ben Moore Hotel) Lacois, and The Tiljuanana. The Ben Moore Hotel was on the same corner.
@DaddySweet100 hey thanks for the history , good info, this is such a soulful piece, it captures the picalo jookin days in the black community( and we did jook!) back during a time when folks were listenin & groovin to our music, while holdin a gun to our head in one hand, & a noose in the other!
oh great here we go with the race crap again. hey guys im 18 year old white man and can respect white, black, mexican, and if a hippopotamus wanted to make a song i'd give it a shot and listen to it. good music is good music simple as that. i was born in the 90s but i like to flip that 9 and say i grew up in the 60s.
@ekocentric yeah nothing is even the same i remember the Compton Sears and the roasted nut smell i also remember the riots and how devastating they were
@kimbadancingbear We lived on 77th and Central on August 1965 when the first riots hit. We didn't all loot (I was 6) and the national guardsmen weren't all trying to kill us...I think that a lot of us were caught up in something that we didn't understand.
Anyway, it's over and a lot of people moved on to do great things. Flowers can spring up from S--- (fertilizer). Lol
