I saw the rpm pass 10,000 on that 'old fashioned' heavy two-valve pushrod motor --- out of this world. I can remember when little overhead-cam motors in sports cars couldn't exceed 7,000rpm. Fantastic.

I doubt it. But if you really want to know I'd consult the rule book. The rules change fairly often in that class. Doesn't seem likely to me though!

Compression ratio on a typical PS motor is about 14.5 -15:1 on these. The DRCE 3 will rev more and make power even higher. Torque is always gonna be close to 840#.
