Actually, there is: the creation of the film Soviet Story was entirely funded by a collection of conservative, right-wing political parties known as the UEN Group. The fact that this film utterly demonizes Communism and Russians is purely a coincidence. Check it yourself if you don't believe me.

With such small amount of citizen in each baltic state, the only way to become stronger in front of any menace (400 years of germans, later sweds, later russians, later...so on) is to stay together ("together we stay, divided we fall"...so obvious)...so far I don't see much interaction social and economic among the three baltic states, as I see it in each one isolated with Russia, as an example. Baltic states need more cooperation in any sense among themselves to stand foreign threaths.

1) Russia is niot USSR and cannot be held responsible for the Bolshevik deeds.

2) Russians comprise >40% of Latvia population, and cannot be called a "minority".

3) Latvia's economy is driven by Russia. Three out of five richest Latvian families are ethnic Russians. Latvian banks (Parex, Aizkraukles, etc.) play important role in laundering Russian money.

Other facts to consider:

1. The moment Russia invades a country to protect russians there, it means those citizens and the circunstances that brought them to an invaded country are STILL its responsibility.

2. Russians living in Latvia are enough to justify an invasion to latvian territory, hipotetically. The point is if they (brought in soviet era) are going to defend the country against Russia or salute russian army. Their actions shall answer the q: do they deserve to be latvian citizens?

this film is PROPAGANDA (NOT). My family suffered horribley at the hands of the red army and the secret police. As Nazi allies (1940), the Russians murdered some of our family members and deported a couple of others to their concentration camps in the Gulag. Russians also killed their own people in large numbers. Those who don't know their own history will likely find it repeated.
