@TrapTv4G If you have the latest build (6.05) you can not use the option "detect new apps that try and download from the Internet". They replaced that with add a browser which simply does not work. Go to the web store for chrome and type in idm. Download download assistant by google and there ya go. Works for me.

Can you please do an updated version for IDM6 onwards? The options screen is different and IDM can't capture Chrome downloads.

Thanks for the video. A few people have commented that even once its integrated, you can no longer right click and select "download with IDM" nor does the the little "download with IDM" thing w/ youtube videos work. I tried everything and it seems that its only that integrated into firefox and ie. unfortunately that means im going back to firefox on my new i7 computer. I was looking forward to the future. oh well

@mmx327 actually IDM is not designed to download any video from other browsers except IE (internet Explorer) so in short you cant download any YouTube video with chrome browser .......
