ive been practicing for a few days.. i memorized the intro part.. but dammit im so frustrated my 3 fingers hurt.. and the more they hurt the worse i play.. and i get more frustrated.. for some reason i cant put down the guitar and wat until tomorrow i just want it to sound good im so mad.. do i just need more practice? my fingers keep slightly touching other cords.. its so frustrating idk what to do.. watched your vid like 20 times btw

@zeace2 You should really rest for a day and then pick it up. You will surprised with how much your muscles remember. If you cant wait the whole day. Take a couple of hours off and come back to it.

@Hitohato I was self-taught for about a year a half. My mom taught me a few simple chords (the D, G and A) and showed me how to play Leaving on a Jet Plane (which is also on my channel). From there she gave me a stack of papers with Christmas music on it (as I started learning guitar in October/Novemberish) and taught me the chords to play those pieces. Once that was over I started looking up tabs/chords for songs on my own. I had formal lessons for 6 months where I learned basic theory.

Not incredibly long, I usually point them a little so I don't have to use picks.

I am using a yamaha nylon stringed acoustic guitar in this video.

I'm actually not a big fan. When I made this video I only had that guitar. Now that I have a guitar with steel strings I can't go back. But I may just be biased because my only nylon stringed guitar is older than I am haha.

I love nylon strings. I would never go back to steel--for two reasons: Steel strings get too noisy as you change chords...at least for me. The second reason is that the nylon strings for me provide a soothing, mellow sound as oppose to steel strings that provide a more sharp and mostly louder sound. Again though, this is my personal opinion. I guess it's just a matter of preference and the type of music you play. =)
