ok, here is the no-brainer idea behind this commercial: people who watch infomercials should get out more. PLUS, a snuggie is pretty much for being all snuggled up in front of the TV and be warm. Actually no. I take it as if you're just sitting at home watching infomercials then its time to get out more. They show the Snuggie because of the cultural impact that it has. Everybody knows what it is, so people will identify with that infomercial as being real. This creates a personal relationship with Subaru's customer. Its called sensory relations. I'm in marketing.
