In my opinion the Modern Warfare story is of the worst I have played in my life. And I've play SMB2. The biggest "appeal" are the big explosions and flashy lights. The levels are filled with spots where you stay and let people come attack for, adding a considerable amount of time to the game. giving the illusion of a large, stuffed game.

Modern Warfare 2 is the one with amazing graphics, World at War had the best World War 2 storyline that I have ever encountered, as well as Zombies (which isn't your basic multiplayer).
