its quite nice... but when you try it in battle with Saladin, Frederick, Lionheart... youre just fucked..

btw there is a small exit (just a missing wall block) in the front of the castle stronghold (in the pert with baracks)

It's a nice castle to start out with, but you definitely would want to use different castles for your maps. I keep my castles kind of like that but have all of my military buildings inside then I make another large wall and put my industry there and then I finish it off with another large wall and put my houses there.

You can build this in a short time, if you spent your money to wood, at the beggining, from wood, you build 6-7 stone-mines and 10-10 cows. Then, wait, 3mins and U have got about 100 stones. Start build the castle, and the cows will continue to bring stone. Or U can do this with Iron-mines and sell iron.

Good advice! I usually just throw up a bunch of towers and archers to kill anything within range--i rarely bother with non-essential walls (i'll just fight anything that comes close via towers/sentaries) or try use the terrain, I never bothered with the full square or triangle castle designs etc,
