I recently bought an 8 lb. ball new in the box at a local thrift store. I can control it better versus the 12 lb. one i was bowling with. A week ago, i bowled a 215 with it! It definately doesn't wear me out like that 12 pounder did. If i had a 14+ lb. bowling ball, i'd be wore out after the first game. lol

a tropical storm has a good weight block for shooting spares because it doesnt have a core, just a pancake weight at the top, BUT, it has a more aggresssive coverstock than a plastic ball so it has the ability to hook when you dont want it to, you would be better off getting an ICE if you like storm, or any other ball with a plastic coverstock

tropical storms arent good for spares unless u can throw a pretty straight ball. tropical storms hook quite a bit so unless u have good hook control and can get a big hook ball goin straight then tropical storms wouldnt b the best idea for spares. unless ur hookin at the spares of course

You should have notice the difference. The 3 shots made with different hand positions are not in constant speed. Last shot is fasted while the first is slow.

2 things to say, 1st I shot a 300 game with a 15lbs Goliath, second the shot they lay out for us Is so flooded on the outside 5 boards and so flooded in the middle you could never throw te ball out that far and have it come back at MontClare lanes in Chicago. you send it out past 5 and its nNEVER comming back I dgaf who you are and how big a ball you throw. so lame too cause I love the outside shot

i got it and boy does it hook. i originally stand between the last 2 dots on the right with an action attack and a smash time, but now i stand in the last on the left and just get the pocket. it boosted my average by like 15 pins. its a very decent ball but just be prepared for it to hook all the way across the lane. i got mine for $195 worth every penny.

I do like Brunswick balls (i mostly bowl with them since my local pro shop is really expensive compared to average prices and my home alley only sells Brunswicks) but still, come on. This didn't teach sh*t, it just tried to make me replace my fine Target Zone spare ball with an expensive and bad-looking Viz-A-Ball. This is a 23 minute advertisement, get Parker's book, it's much better than this.
