Very nice, very nice! The start-up song made me smile, perfect lyrics to go with it hehe Nice footage, shame she's gone - got anymore of it or was this the last bit you had? That last collection at the end looked like a bastard, some of those bags looks like they were stuffed with soil... didn't look very light - but made a good clip :D Enjoyed that early morning clip 3/5 of the way in too and liked how he kicked the button at 6:54! =]
Thanks for the comment!! There's some clips here and there (which I took out, leaving only the best ones for this vid). There's also some footage I thought I got last year including one time where he tossed an empty bin from ~10 feet and made it into a stack of other empty bins LOL! Think I lost this somehow though :(
Very sad to see another legend retire. With the age of these trucks also comes the cost of maintaining them, and thus reluctantly forcing it into retirement. Because they're so old, they probably have had problems recently finding parts and keeping it in good condition because the parts maunufacturers either went out of business or nobody makes them any more. It's a good thing we do what we do here, to preserve the likes and wellness of these man made beasts for generations down the road.
You're absolutely right, and that very likely is the reason, since Maxon's been out of business for over 10 yrs. Comment's appreciated, and btw, be sure to check out all the NorCal waste footage I'll be posting here in a few weeks from my Sacramento trip!!
Maxon is still in business, just not in the refuse hauling side of the industry. They are a major manufacturer of lift gates for trucks. All of our trailers at Saladino's that are equipped with lift gates are Maxons.
Oh this isn't our only MSL LOL! He's using a different one now, #44 which you'll be seeing video of soon. All this M331 footage wasn't taken recently, it was way before my videos of M342 and 364 and now everything I have of 44.
Thanks!! I'll make sure and check them out eventually ;) He know has been using 44, the MSL seen in two videos I posted before this one. I have literally TONS of footage to post, so stay tuned!

Well done! Sad to see M331 go... hopefully it gets sold to another company that will keep it running, I'd hate to see that truck ripped apart.
