Good point. However I train with nine-sec chain whip, 3-sec staff and rope dart which are very different. The rope is heavy and spinning it easily takes you off-balance so you truly have to move as one with the rope. Especially when it's wet (snow). Furthermore you cannot really do chain whip and rope dart moves with the rope. The 3-section comes pretty close though.
The rope is a heavy fisherman's rope, one end is taped tight and melted ("business end"). The other end is opened up into its threads ("raking end"). That makes this rope useful for many a purpose..
Ahh..that explains it.Its almost similiar to the tassels of chinese straight swords,in which it could hide wire claws within the raking end,or it could be also used against certain weapons, like entangling?
Actually this end is for tearing flesh, grabbing weapons/hands and diffusion. Entangling is not really done with the raking end, however you can use the rope wrapping around object which is shown sorta halfway down the form.
Yes! Good point, credits should go to luxxnatura (Erin), our long-lost and natural staff wielding studente for shooting the Rosedale videos! Great to hear from you, isn't the web a wonderful thing!
Bravo--Very Impressive. Thanks for sharing.
