Not in their lyrics, not in their band atitude, not in their music. it is a typical rock band. if they want to represent kashmir they should send out the kashmiri signals via their music. that wud certainly rock. Maybe then u'll find ur 'Kashmiri signals.' What do you want them to do? Sing bumbaro bumbaro, wear pharons, and break out the kangries? They are a rock n' roll band. we are kashmiri, our familiy still lives there and are affected by the violence tht goes on there evryday. If you take time to listen to our music, youll see several songs talk abt kashmir. we also work w the Kashmir Tribunal on human rights issues in Kashmir. but our identity, beyond music, is tied to kashmir. u dont knw who we are. and we dont care wht u think.

I personally know the drummer and the unwavering commitment and great lengths of the band to help the people of Kashmir and inspire hope in young people...most recently in morocco, where the mohsin din, the drummer, set up a art and music workshops for impoverished children.... through their music they have spread awareness of the situation in kashmir...peace
