Alien Crush Returns is not a graphically enhanced version of the original; it's a new pinball game with a similar theme and 3 different tables.

I remember reading that Alien Crush Returns was a remake of Alien Crush and that some of the original aspects (such as the central alien of the board and the bonus levels), though, so I don't think it's "new" in a sense that it's a sequel of the game or a title completely unrelated to Alien Crush. I'll see for myself once I get to download and play the game how related the two games are (the 3 different tables could be an extra feature, too).

No, I haven't, unfortunately, as I didn't get the opportunity yet to do so. However, as I understand it, it is a graphically enhanced version of the original Alien Crush with some extra features. If you haven't tried so yet, you may try looking at videos and reviews to determine if the game looks good to you for yourself.
