  • Hey, I just went flying and I had to reduce the gain to 64% on the DX7 in gyro mode, (50% to 100% gain is 0 to 100% gain for head hold mode). That's not much right? That's only 28% if it's linear between 50-100. How much was yours set at? I just did a day of flying, ended the 4th pack with a crash, I'm gonna post the vid soon, surprisingly little damage.

  • Nice flying, it flys pretty nice.

A little wag, flyerbug's having the same problem with his SE V2, GY401 and 9650 on a 35X 6V BEC. Do you have a problem eliminating the wag even with delay or reduced gain? Both those won't fix it.

You might wanta check a few things, your blades seem to slow down really quick, maybe because the pinion is too tight against the main gear or your tail belt's too tight.

  • Dave thanks for the comments. I just needed to reduce the gain a little. it slowed down fast because of all the negative pitch in hold mode.

  • Thanks Chris, talk to you in the forum.

  • Nice! I like the spool up sound of your t-rex!

    Keep it up!

  • Thanks Linkadrip, yes it is all carbon and CNC. Microheli CNC head and tail. You need to set your ESC to Soft Cut off if you have it. I get about 8 minutes in Governor mode and 3,000 RPM head speed, 2200 Mah lipo 20C.

  • Very Nice flying JD. Battery last for quite awhile there. I think i have my ESC set wrong when the battery gets to a certain voltage power cuts and i have to auto gyro to the ground luckly i have been fortunate to not damge the heli. but definetly need to take a look at whats happening. Very nice Heli can see you have put some Change into it.
