They are from the same branch of the Human race that produces the modern Asian man. They left Africa at the same time as the modern Asians. It is just that, due to the tropical climate of where they settle, they evoled differently.

That is why I said that they not more African than they average Asian.

NO They are not Filipinos' ancestors, but share common ancestors with Filipinos.

As you can imagine, due to their physical and cultural differences from the mainstream Filippos, they are mostly ostracized and discriminated against.
