Something strange happened with this song 12 years ago. I was far from home on vacation and had this strong feeling that I needed to be home. I decided the next day I was going to get in my car and make the long trip home. The next morning I had this song stuck in my head and kept singing it. The minute I started the car to leave this song came on. I sped home only to find out my uncle had died. This was one of his favorite songs. Strange how unseen things work.

I'm half Mex/half White and grew up listening to all kinds of music...the peeps in my neighborhood LOVE this music! So do I. We danced to the Four Tops/Temps/Marvin Gaye/O'Jays...and on and on! 40 years later (and I'm a DJ) this music is timeless and still the best!! Black Soul and R&B from the 60's and 70's is still some of the greatest sounds ever!
