  • @DelmyJG Yea, sold it in 2007 I think, I don't even remember anymore.

  • haha nice exhaust bro i was like wtf is he leavin his camera there for dat bitch gon steal his camera haha

  • Nice vid. The sp2 had a throatier growl to it at idle. I like that. I like the "stock" look.

  • @rrankin257 Exactly!. Thanks

  • 2Pac is alive.

  • I miss this car!!!!! :(

  • @aliciakeyz32092 Have you been in my new car yet?

  • lmao!! word bro wat were u thinking ...nah but good s**t tho

  • how much horsepower do you have with all your mods?

  • Very nice video man. Most videos are just revving but you have the drive away and in-car, I like it.

  • @riot4792 Thank You.

  • any notice in power ?

  • @sanya916 Not really.

  • hahah the lady running thats jokes

  • i like it, very nice!

  • i'ved been savin' my money for this car :P ! my favorite one ! acura rsx !!

  • dope ride man!!!! u must be proud lol.

  • nice car man !

  • ws2 or sp2?

  • @bmofomofo1234

The title of the video answers this.

  • @rtatis haha i meant which one do you prefer?

i have an 02 rsx and aem v2. but not sure what exhaust to get.

    n1, ws2, sp2, ? i want something quite loud. deep.

  • v-tecccccccccccccccccCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

  • what rims are those?

  • @MIAxskater54 stock wheels

  • @rtatis stock.. jdm?

  • every exhaust video should be like this....

  • damn i feel like your car gained an extra 34whp

  • Thats alot of wheel weights

  • Im about to be getting a 2002 acura Rsx type s on wednesday.. What kind of exhaust would anyone with an RSX suggest for me to get? im looking to add a little horse power but want it to sound sexy as hell!

  • i love how it sounds! its quite when it starts then BWAA.BWWAAA! but anyways im gettin it... i think best sounding exaust ever

  • its nice to see a Honda/Acura with out an obnoxious fart can. Nice RSX I love the nice smooth sound it has now!

  • car is pretty sexy stock :)

  • well im really digging this exhaust! Tip? i've been looking on for this exhaust and it says 02-04 rsx. I'm guessing it dont matter since your is a 06 and you have it installed right? and if so how much was yours? im trying to find the lowest price around.

  • @Mrbegals It's not an exhaust tip, it's a catback system.

  • @rtatis well i know that its not a "tip" I meant TIPS???? as in advice.. HAHA!

  • @Mrbegals oh, hahahaha. I don't remember exactly how much it was, this was several years ago now, but I believe it was around $525 shipped. I also believe that it'll fit, if I remember correctly too. GL

  • @Mrbegals yeah itll fit for an 06

it said the same thing for the greddy ti-c and i have an 05 and it fits

  • are those mugen side skirts?

  • @KingAdrock909

    stock side skirts.

  • dude u a fucken beast that a way to drive hit me back up soon

  • LOL at the jogger. SWEET sound. Not tin-canny at all, which I hear from other imports a lot and hate. Good job XD

  • hahaha that damn jogger

  • good.

    decent not too loud

  • lol at 2:03

    Great job with the video.

  • w polsce by juz tego aparatu nie bylo

  • why do u have Honda emblems? wtf

    way to mix it up.

  • @bigmacsa because in japan, the Acura Rsx Type S is the Honda Integra Type R. ( not sure but i believe that to be right)

  • @bigmacsa Because it's JDM yo, hahahahahaha.

  • It's JDM yo! lol

  • @bigmacsa acura is a luxery car for honda... most acura engines are made by honda

  • Wow... this video was very nicely done. Onr of the only exhaust vids on youtube i actually enjoy watching lol. Good job bro!

  • @ZYGADLO2010

Thanks, it was one of the reasons why I did it, to help others.

  • @rtatis

yeoo braa, nice type s first off. second off, is the exhaust in the vid (greddysp2) the full exhaust? like with the cat and going all the way to the headers? and are your headers stock? i have an 03 type s and im debating what exhaust and headers to get. im sold on the aem v2 for intake. i mean i dont want a loud and obnoxious exhaust but yours seems not to loud, but loud enough for stares. would it be louder w/ race headers? dude your help would be worrd.

  • @suckuhhballbag420

Not the full exhaust, was cat-back. Header was stock. Yes it would be louder with a race header.

    Thanks

  • sounds nice with the exhaust on it, love them DC5s man them little cars r sick...

  • hahaha i knoe, well im already workin on getting a type-s..but its 02 tho..well it would be awesome if i can get an 05 or 06 cuz the stock is already 210 hp.

    too expensive still..lols

  • damn! i like...NICE

  • nice vid bro! got same car but i have automatic..it sux..lol

  • @diosxmakina

ouchh, yeaa i bet it does suck braa, shouldve gott tha type s my mane! 6peed or noo speed.

  • damn....

  • i love how at the end he takes out the remote and turns off the camera Lol good shit (:

  • Nice video mate!, cant really hear the VTEC crossover, why is that?

  • @EVLGTR

The Hondata Flash smooths out the power band to the point where VTEC is barely heard; it's still there.

  • @rtatis Thats kinda disappointing, hearing the aural pitch of the VTEC is the epitome of these honda engines

  • ive done that before, snapped my link cable from shifting to hard, luckily my buddy repaired it for me free, and that cable cost 80 to 100 used!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey man i liked the video its hard to find em' like this. Befor and after. And by the way, just a little advice, try not to shift so hard you can destroy the linkage. Nice car though!

  • ibought sp2 after i saw this vid. thank you. sp2 is 5/5 product.

  • Honestly, the best exhaust for a N/A RSX is the 05-06 OEM type S set up. It flows just as well as anything else out there at a fraction of the cost. Only downer is that it's quiet until VTEC kicks in, which in my opinion, is the way to go ;) I considered getting the SP2 on my 02 RSX after my Evo II broke but got an 06 S exhaust instead.

Nice RSX though! Sounds bad ass. 5 STARS!

  • eminem? nice. nice rsx as well

  • Haha u look like pepe le pew!

  • Great video...i like how you tried to minimize the variables. This definitely helps answer some questions. Nice work!

  • Thanks

  • i love the greddy sp2 with my intake dc header and megan cat delete the quietest straight pipe car ever on my 06 type S

  • LMAO!!!!!! Atleast this video has a funny scene in it. Jogger comes along hehe. I'm getting an RSX soon, that sounds really nice dude. Nice RSX too.

  • Dam. Seems slow for all those mods. Shoulda got it a dyno after hondata cause that's what ur supposed to do. Haha. Well at least my type s is fast.

  • eminem. lmao

  • lol at 1:37, that's a shit load of wheel weights on the rim! there's like 3+ ounces on there!

  • wow they actually sound pretty good stock but very sexy with the Greddy!!!!

  • sounds very good man!

  • thnx

  • I rather get custom pipe + good exaust

  • That works too.

  • Sounds better, why was your stock exhaust sound so ratty? How many miles on it.

  • I believe it was around 9k miles.

  • Comment removed

  • thx!!

  • hey does ur rsx transmission grind?? my 06 rsx-s third gear always grind and somtimes 2nd gear!! i kno this is a problem with rsx-s but how did some people fix this problem???

  • When I had it, it never grinded but I did have the infamous 3rd gear wall. I believe there was a recall/tsb for 3rd gear, I honestly am not sure though.

    thanks

  • new clutch

  • To fix the problem, you need new syncronizers and some good gearing oil.

  • nice stock lookin...sound nicer

  • Very nice video, thanks for making the effort.

  • nice i might get this same exhaust too. kinda hard to tell from the video but it's pretty quiet right? and do you feel a noticeable power gain?

  • Can you please help anyone. i want all performance exhaust what is the best for me? ( rsx type s 03) i was thinking borla

  • Im not really sure what would be the best? But what i did was bought a nice muffler and took it to a shop and got a custom cat-back exhaust.

  • borla is great

  • I like the way you did the whole before and after thing, with like 3 dif locations of the camera. Smart.

  • Thanks, my idea was to help others hear the difference, even if the difference isn't much, from different angles. It was also fun producing the video.

  • yea you cant really tell a big noise change, but to me it looked alot faster though. I like the chirp to 2nd on the driving away one. :)

  • hahaha as soon as i saw that jogger i thought the same thing!

  • cai are good for top end gains. i'm thinkin of gettin the password jdm power chamber intake. they compair it to cai and aem v2 intake. i think it's worth the lil extra cash

  • get on the highway bro! show us how you get on it with the greddy sound. i need to save up for an exhaust. where are you located?

  • ivtecc !!! mmm baby i love my rsx!

  • Sold the car to get another car? What model honda center car did you use to replace the OEM acura center caps?

  • its kind of hard to hear because the intake sound overpowers the exhaust... but its sweet.

  • that mustache makes u look like a rappest.. hahahaahha

  • nice video man, thanks!!

  • GoOod Video Man, Very helpful =D

  • Comment removed

  • good video man, how did you mount the camera in your car?

  • Camera mount onto c-pillar bar.

  • Is it a muffler?? well it sounds nice stock atleast :)

  • wow the reflash must have helped you out a lot. got a cardomain?

  • The reflash was a great mod, I loved it. Sorry, no cardomain.

  • sickk!!

  • the stock is still louddd

    but the SP2 is CRAZZZY

  • it sounds nice, but its not quite loud enough

  • For me it was just loud enough, to others it's not.

    Thanks

  • very nice video. i just bought a greddy sp2 for my 2004 rsx-s. thanks alot. Do u know if a intake will make a big difference in noise?

  • Not sure what you mean by "noise" but yes, replacing the OEM intake with an aftermarket one will usually result in increased "noise".

  • alright. thanks. im getting a Injen CAI soon but still dont know whats the best header to look for. rtatis do u have any advice?

  • lmao u would have the mirror from HSN

  • HSN?

  • this TV show where they sell stuff 24-7 i was watchin it late one night and tht mirror was on there no offense

  • Umm ok, lol, a lot of tuners by wide mirrors, lol, hsn, e-bay, local car wash...all the same crap.

    Thnx

  • That is a good exhaust because you can still have a fast "tuned" car without sounding like the people that 95% of America hate with the super loud cars ripping down the streets at 3 in the morning

  • very nice good driving , im clad that bitch didn't steal ur camera lol

  • Man I always thought the SP was louder than that..... HKS Hi-Power............

  • very nice.~

  • Great video man! Really helps me decide now. I think I'm going to get this. Thanks alot.

  • Glad it helped; that was my goal when I decided to make the video.

  • hahaha the jogger stealing ur camera part was pretty funny. I was thinking the same thing when the lil bubble popped up!

Good video tho, I can't wait til I can afford mods for my 95 corolla

  • How was the power gain with the exhaust?? low, mid or top end?? thanks

  • Not enough for the butt dyno to have felt anything.

  • you should make a new vid of the exhaust now since its broken in.

  • I truly wish I could but I sold the car.

  • damn that sux, well gl then

  • what did you get in it's place?

  • thats sweet. good sound. Ive been looking to buy a type s but cant find one for sale anywhere. any advice?

  • haha DUDE... GREAT VID

  • awesome vid.

  • love my dc5, fun to drive and mod.

  • Useful vid. I bought an '04 type s 11 months ago (29xxx mi. on odo at the time). This type of info is very useful. Thanks.

  • Glad it helped.

  • Thanks to all for comments, even the negative ones. As long as the video has helped a few, I feel good about posting up the video.

    :)

  • Is that a stock mirror?

  • No, it's a Broadway 240mm I believe napolex mirror, with a blue border.

  • wow, sounds exactly the same as the stock exaust, bad choice. but good choice on the car, rly nice

  • I must disagree with your opinion. It was exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't looking for anything too much louder than stock. It got a bit louder than stock within a couple of months, which was fine for me. The slightly added better airflow and the fact that it was completely stainless steel, which the stock is not was enough for me to have made the choice in purchasing it. It cost me $450 and I sold the stock exhaust for $200, so it actually cost me $250. Bad choice you say?

  • the sp2 exhaust wasnt even broken in yet, cuz he just installed it that day. im sure its alot louder now.

  • Great video man, Rsx Looks Great! Would Def. Trade my NBP for the VBP anyday! But Prob will Paint my 05 S Champ White during the summer!

  • serious question!!! i need help quick! i'm easily 6' 5 or 6' 6 i'm thinking about buying a 02' rsx any one has ne idea if this will work for me? i'm used to driving a 98 mustang gt and also a 98 cavalier to work everyday...

  • my bf is 6'3" and he has no issues at all, but ur a little taller... take one for a test drive at a local dealer n see how it goes

  • Comment removed

  • sounds the same

  • sounds good !......were those honda rims?

  • No, just honda center caps.

  • Excellent video, just what I was looking for.

    lol @ the jogger.

  • Sounds really nice man! Good choice.

  • how wide is ur exhaust?

  • lmfao i thought she was gunna take the camera

  • great job on the video.

    cheers

  • Try not to rip the shifter knob off next time.

  • When did I rip it off?

  • sounds good bro!!

  • hi. im really looking into buyimg a type s.. but i have been doing some reseach and not alot of reviews sound that great.. you beeing an owner.. would you recomend this car??

  • Mechanic charged me $40, lol, no brainer for me.

    Thanks

  • Who cares if he took it to a garage or not! He still got the job done and still has a nice car! And the camera part was funny! lol! I was thinking the same thing!

  • you took it to a shop just to install a catback? why?

  • Because I didn't have the tools nor the space to do it myself. I don't live in a house with a nice garage; apartment building with crowded indoor parking and poor lighting. Does it matter?

    Thanks

  • It's only not much louder because you have stock headers, if you put on a rh then you'd notice the difference. Nice vid though

  • Thanks

  • My friend had the SP2 with BCRH, no cat and it still was much quieter than other ricer can exhausts out there.

    Thanks

  • sell it and buy something that isnt a honda

  • why? everything else breaks

  • 5stars! Awesome vid.

  • Hey man thankx for the vid. This definitely made my mind up cause I was really looking for an exhaust that wasn't too loud yet sounded good and the GReddy SP2 sounds great! Thankx.

Hey how did you get your camera mounted during the in car shots? That looked pretty sweet ;-)
