  • Dot?

  • Best song about a prostitute I've ever heard.lol

  • I prefer Deerhunter.

  • @iHackedLife

I prefer for you to not say silly things like that.

  • I thumbed up without listening just because the dot idea was so damn clever

  • best dot ever

  • @Furious090 aye. Dat dot!

  • @Furious090 You're welcome, guys.

  • @Furious090 I don't get it D:

  • In case anyone is wondering, this song takes place when the soldiers in the war gather around start telling each other stories and one of them tells about a prostitute he had sex with and treated like garbage named Ms. Terri, leading The Dear Hunter to dsicover that this man is his father.

You can tell he's talking about "The Dime" (the church/brothel) at the begining when he says "There was a silver circle sign".

  • Favorite tune to sing to in the shower & car. =)

  • 1 dislike?! WHO DONE IT!?!?!

  • This is probably the most straightforward song in the entire story so far.

  • Favorite freaking song

  • Damn good jams, Casey Crescenzo jams out any band he is a part of.

  • Is this song about the conception of the Dear Hunter or just a time someone had with Ms. Terri....I'm pretty sure it's about the conception of the dear hunter

  • @hcvideoproductions Actually, this song describes a story The Boy's father tells, since he's in the war in this act, he happens to find his father there too, along with his half-brother. He realizes he's the boy's father in this song. but the soldiers are at their camp, and the Father says how he met a prostitute (Ms. Terri) and paid her to have sex with him, though he describes it like he didnt care for her whatsoever.

  • WHAT WAS YOUR NAME?

  • epic song... listen to act 1 and 2 to understand the lyrics haha... love this band

  • is it weird that I'm a girl and I think this song is extremely hot?

  • @sammiwyatt I though I was the only one! It's straight up sexy.

  • I assume by the "what was your name?" the song is talking about ms.terri, right? at first I thought it was ms.leading and I was like D: but ms.terri sounds more like it.

  • @healingv1sion you are correct, this is the father talking of ms terri and is the story of the conception of the dear hunter

  • @healingv1sion It's like Hunter (the dear hunter) it's his Dad singing about Ms Terri and Hunter said What was your name to Ms Leading and his dad said it to Ms Terri

  • 0 people had a history buried in misery...

    Wait 0 people?

  • so good <3.

  • I recently realized that this song was used for Counter Strike Online. This was played when you would enter a game. :) SO EPIC.

  • Is it fucked up that I just fucking love this song? Ahhhhhhhh!

  • I can't be the only one who was freaked out at the beginning right? Still a good song, scratch that, amazing song, but man.

  • this song is so fucked up, i love it. That last "What was your name?" fucking destroys.

  • I just love these people that are in the band, mostly cuz of their voice and their beards n.n

  • @Pop12646Okami I saw them perform last night and i could not staring at their beards!!! I wanted to touch them but I didn't get to meet them :'(

  • Don't tell me I'm the first to comment on this phenomenal song. One of my favorites. "WHAT WAS YOUR NAME?!" gets to me every time.

  • @CZHunter I've been looking for a better band to listen to to replace My Chemical Romance (because I've listened to all their songs and I'm tired of people complaining about 'emo music' when i read comments). This is quite a wonderful addition to my playlist.

  • @quitejaded

Aw, man don't worry about what other people say. You shouldn't ditch a band you like just because other people don't like it. But if you're looking for more artists, I personally really like Regina Spektor, Ludo, The Fratellis, and Ingrid Michaelson.

  • @UkeRenji dude you have awesome taste. love all those guys.

  • @quitejaded look man just like Uke said, don't ditch your favorite bands for what other people say (though I'll be honest, I personally believe emo kids are annoying.) I do, however, believe you should try different styles of music and try and transition a bit from one genre to the next. You learn more about music that way and gain more friends from every department. The thing is, "emo" doesn't stand for emotional or gay stuff like that. Emo comes from Emotive Rock which started in the 80's
