This song makes me think of Michaela. She was my first friend in junior high, and she had mental problems. I stuck with her through it all and visited her in tough times, and what does she do to repay me? She runs away to another state and forgets all about me... I helped her back to her feet, and she left me behind...
The last time I heard from her was a phone call. I'd called her & she'd happily babbled on about how her life was amazing now.
I've never heard this version before... I loved the original but this is beautiful. or... idk if this *is* the original, the one with the music video.
