my guinea pig gave birth 4 days ago. it got out the first guinea pig which i named copper but it also squeezed out its intestines so we had to end his misery. I am now hand feeding the guinea pig and giving it all the love and care it needs 24/7 and my other guinea pig is expecting soon. @moOswe Its actually recommended to have a relatively small space for due pigs to give birth in and stay for the first day or so afterwards, it helps with the bonding process between mama and babies.

@RIVEXNGLE In the wild cuy's (wild guinea's) are herd animals, they are born and are up and running in a few hours at the most. It is still the same for our domesticated guinea too.
