It wasn't House Paint but Airplane and Car Paint that was not too much liquid and could stay in "shape" without going anywhere... (sorry for my bad english)
@JackM2409 As you can tell by the colors, no, he didn't use house paint. From "About.com" I found this: "... he turned to the new synthetic resin-based paints on the market (generally called ‘gloss enamel’), made for industrial purposes such as spray-painting cars or household interior decorating. He would continue using gloss enamel paint until his death."
@JackM2409 About. com says "...he turned to the new synthetic resin-based paints on the market (generally called ‘gloss enamel’), made for industrial purposes such as spray-painting cars or household interior decorating. He would continue using gloss enamel paint until his death."
the fluid paint, the drip and splash, action-painting.Impossible to emulate without replicating? If Pollock began something then died what would have been the logical conclusion of this work?
If you want to see something better, check out my page and the links to my work. All I ask is a very, very, very small portion of what this dead guy's work is worth. Probably even less than when he was alive not including inflation.
Tie my ass to you bumper, and drag me down the street, Abstract Art is the kings new clothes. The absence of art. It does not matter what the hell Pollacks "motivation, or vision was,it still defies common sense how money is paid for that crap!
thats NOT full fathom five. some dumkopff at silvertone stuck elephant stone backwards on the cassette single. the actual is an amazing bit of LSD replicating in the style of dont stop, guernica and simone.

Essas pinturas dizem o que a alma diria se pudesse expressar isso com tintas e traços, maravilhoso!!!
These paintings speak to what the soul would say if he could express it with paints and features, wonderful!!!

Nice tribute to Pollock!
I wonder if that song sounds as good forwards as it does backwards.....?
I'll have to go check out these Stone Roses of whom you speak.

The "chaos" of the music reflects the "chaos" of the painting.
Well done; thanks.

House Paint (oil based, of course. Considering the time period, some paints may contain lead.
