Why so fast? He is an unbelievable player, but his coach/teacher needs to help him out a little. That tempo killed that piece even though it was impressive that he could play it so clean at that speed. Musicality is just as important as technique, speed etc.

Ruben needs to improve his dynamics. he also needs to go slow more slowly and try to make it sound more deliqate. Tine Thing Helseth does it much better than he does.

But I think that with such tempo, the piece turns into something closer to a variation kind of piece, like Carnival og Venice. Most of the dynamics and style from the classical music is all gone. It is impressive, but not very "classic".

I am simple amazed at his multitonguing technique, because I am 15 and my mouth just stopped growing, being able to develop this efficient of multitongue is unnatural. Simple to state the obvious, he is truly a prodigy and will be a virtuoso within a few years.
