  • I want dis so baddddd

  • i own one of these, and it was the best purchase i ever made.

  • Advanced feature? Lol mac s have had multitouch features for how long?

  • I want a XPS 15

  • I just ordered one! 2670QM, 8gb ram, 750gb hard drive, 1080p display, back lite keyboard, blu-ray drive. All the options was supposed to be $1800, got it for $1063 before tax, after tax and warranty $1400 something. Can't wait, awesome review REALLY enjoyed it.

  • @beercap007 BTW, I have a iphone4, but I dont like MAC computers.. Not saying they're not good but as someone else has mentioned on the comments, you're paying for a name much like you pay for the "SONY" name. Same deal and not any better than the PC's that are out today. The only PRO to a MAC in my eye's is that you can run either MAC OS or Windows, I don't know the benefit of run a MAC OS, but I am a windows7 and Ubuntu guy. Windows for games, and Ubuntu for everything else.

  • Lo bueno de haberme comprado la del xps con i7 es q no necesito prender la calefaccion de mi cuarto...

  • Damn, why did I buy and HP :( ,, this is a dreamy machine 1000 times better than as it seems

  • its 5.94 lbs not 8 lbs

  • im interested in gaming should i buy this or not?

    plz reply

  • @thedarkprincexxx if you can find a good price. I bought one off ebay for around $500 and i couldn't be happier :D it's easily a $1000 computer

  • @thedarkprincexxx Depends on what kind of games and what you are expecting to see. Games like Terraria and Minecraft run perfect on this computer but you can't run most other pc games on high settings.

  • should i buy this dell xps 15 or hp dv6 6165tx

plz tell me i have to buy one

  • Just ordered one of these babies. 2.2ghz i7 Quad core, 6gb ram, 750gb hard drive (7200rpm), 2gb nvidia Geforce 540M. Some very nice specs for the price.

  • Does this laptop have a DVI input?

  • why does best buy list this laptop at only 5.8lbs?

  • @az015 I heard that hp laptops tend to have worse battery life... I don't know what others may think but I'd go for Dell.

  • Can it play some games like citiesxl 2011 and the sims 3??? please reply. I may get the $ 799 one thanks.

  • @HAha413XX Yes

  • @HAha413XX Yes easily.

  • @HAha413XX If you want to play sims 3 or citiesxl thing... it will definetly play it on max.

  • why is the host having a cap on ??? 1:27

  • Is this guy so weak he cant carry anything above 10 pounds?

  • @Mistic2kx LOL

  • if money is not a prob go for apple ..........

  • @replica456 Fuck apple my dell xps 15 destroys it :)

  • I can get this laptop for the same price as a HP dv6 with roughly the same hardware. Only exception is nvidia grapics for the dell raedon graphics for the HP.

do you recommend this laptop or the HP dv6?

  • 8 Pounds?. I'm carrying around an extra 60 lbs!

  • 8 pounds? And 1980x1020?

    This review is bullshit.

  • @Gunner3210 and the fan is NOT even loud, LOL im using my dell xps right now :)

  • and the feature on de xps 15 and/or xps 17 they can hold max 2 hard drives really handy if u want add 1 more hard drive

  • I bought this laptop today!

  • 8 pounds, seriously, u have to b a really bbig nuerd to think that that is heavy, my schoolbag weighs more tha 30 pounds lol.

  • @rickeyrick12 If you're asking that question you probably don't have backlit keyboard

  • this sucks

  • Does it have a backlit keyboard?

  • very nice looking computer. sounds like it runs great. dont think id mind having one.

  • i just go it yesterday, its amazing not that bulky

very cool and no fan noise

  • Its not 8 pounds alone it feels like 6 and with the charger maybe 7 its not that heavy at all. Unless your a wimp and can't carry 7 pounds on your back then you suck.

  • im watching on my xps 15, and it has the exact same components: 6 gb ram, nvidia gt540m etc xD. I can confirm what this review is telling: the speakers are great, good qualitity for high performance tasks, but it is noisy sometimes when you're playing games like Black Opps an Crysis 2. I find it easy to use and I also give my laptop a 4/5 :)

  • can the HDMI point act as an input?

  • it's not 1980x1020

    it's 1920x1080

    be careful

  • how does the xps 17 compare to this ?

  • Comment removed

  • @arjunswamy180 i have the same prob i own a dv6 right now. it heats up a lot and the battery is quite bad. dell is know for good battery life and they say this unit stays cool. but i love the way pavilions look. i don't know what to do!

  • Comment removed

  • 1:18 did he mean to say that, or did he mean 1920 by 1080? :)

  • wat about gaming performance?

  • @sulthanajith You should be able to play every single game on the market

  • This or a Macbook pro? Looking for an objective answer...can't decide between this an a 15 inch Macbook pro.

Looking at the range toping XPS 15 (8gb ram, 750gb hdd), and entry level Macbook pro 15.

  • @adil2552 This defiantly, when you buy a mac, your paying because it's apple. You paying a massive amount for the brand. Mac's are far overpriced for what you get. If you have a mac, it shows you know nothing about computers, and your just buying whatever looks good.

  • @Andy9742 xactly

  • @Andy9742 Or maybe you are a developer that needs to develop for iOS, and Windows in Bootcamp, and you like the longer battery life and optional high rez matte screen. Of course I'm sure someone like you, knows a lot more than a developer who designs systems and applications for both platforms, knows more then me. In fact, I think you know about as much as the "Mac" people. Someone who truly knows about computers knows the advantages and disadvantages to both, and uses the best tool for the job.

  • @Andy9742 You failed to mention the superb build quality of macbooks, especially the macbook pro. Apple customer service is also at the top so unless you ONLY wanna pay for the hardware then PC is okay but if you need the peace of mind of a bad product macbook is the way to go. BTW, there's no fanboyism here since I'm on laptop PC typing this out.

  • @Andy9742 youre not only paying for hardware, Dell Customer service sucks ass, Unlike apples, which is best there can be!

  • @QualityCompare but it all depends on the person who you get on the phone or in real life. you should also know that too.

  • @Andy9742

Then find notebook with such a good specs and quiet cooling system without any heating.

  • @Andy9742 do you have this laptop, well i do and the wireless inthernet card is so bad that you need to be almost next to the modem to get decent signal.

  • @Andy9742 Finally someone realises!! :)

  • @adil2552 i had the same prob. the big turn off about mac books is it has nothing under the hood. its the osx experience that you pay for. all my friends and family own mac's now. before i buy this i will give my cousin a chance to talk me out.

  • @adil2552 This

  • cool video

  • this review sucks, i have a dell xps 15 and its not loud and if its to heavy for you go lift weights

  • Thats weird, my dell xps 15 is whisper quiet and its not even that heavy at all. The fan only starts up when playing games or heavy programs...

  • @NewPSCity you have sandy bridge core i7?

  • @LogicTVdotcom Yes, the i7-2720QM with 540M graphics card 2gb.

  • @LogicTVdotcom sandy bridge works cooler. so if he even has it its better for noise and heat.

  • @LogicTVdotcom Like I said YES!

  • Comment removed

  • Good review, i love my dell xps 15 :)

  • I am getting 8+ hours with the 9-cell battery. Pretty awesome.
