John--great video, very helpful! U.S. military, stationed in Europe, currently own a 1996 e39 528i euro-version w/ a ZF5HP18 automatic/steptronic trans. I was wondering exactly how to get the valve body out & back-in (so that I can disassemble the valve body into its bodies & install a new valve body kit). Also, thks for valve body bolts torque spec! I will use what you did as the ZF5HP24 cannot be too different than my ZF5HP18! Sure wish you had a valve body kit install video too! Thks again
