  • @hawaomar100 will I don't read bible and if it said in it why don't people do it then a lot of people don't do what it say in the bible and they just do what ever they want

  • @hawaomar100 there is no passage in the bible about neckcovering just about haircovering and headcovering. And you can always wear turtlenecks ;).

  • I really feel for you. Can't you maybe tie your scarve in the back of your neck like a tichel? Just don't take it off because of them.

  • @MaraXanu yeh but her neck would be showing which is also inappropriate in the faith.

  • I hope your have ease in all your affairs.

  • @s1998rw Excuse me, but the head covering is supposed to be a sign of the authority over us and us ACCEPTING this authority, wether it be our husband or (if we're single) father. This sign of being under authority is a sign to the angels. They recognise it!

  • I feel with you, it's wrong that you don't Get to wear it at church no matter what activity. Let them see 1 corinthians 11, it says that it's a shame for women to pray/prophesy without her head covered... And Ask them where the bible say: pray without ceacing! :-)

  • And if you father thing it stupid to wear it will tell him it not

  • And by the way Muslim are the best in the stupid world

  • If you are a muslim u can wear it and one one will say any thing to u but if you are christian you don't have to wear it

  • @s1998rw it says in the bible that christian woman need to cover their hair. Read it.

  • Hey

  • life is a test

    keep allah by your side

  • the founding fathers of TERRORISM are WHITE PEOPLE.

terrorist is one that brings death and illegal killings to innocent people based on politics/religion views.

it began with christian crusades and till the day as you can see the occupation of Muslim countries leaving a path of destruction and deaths to innocent people.

am not saying all white people are to blame. its just weird that the one who is protecting them self are to blame and get labeled like that ??

  • @andipoetic

why is it that at the end you say "not intend to blow somebody up" or talking like muslims are bad ??

if you want i can send you some books about "Islam" so you can educate yourself instead of hearing HATERS talking trash about us that will manipulate and create hatred in your hart.

one question for you , WOULD YOU SACRIFICE YOU LIFE FOR YOUR RELIGION ??

(just think about it , would you push the trigger. is your faith so strong that you would do it ??)

  • @malsedba I was talking like TERRORISTS are bad...and they ARE bad. I was saying that it isn't like I'm a terrorist.

Clearly you haven't watched any more of my videos or you would know that I know plenty enough about Islam.

  • bless your heart...head covering is a beautiful thing...if THE MOST HIGH is leading you to do it, just be obedient to that. it wont be easy b/c folks are ignorant and dont realize jews, christians, muslims, and many cultures encourage and have head coverings as part of the norm. i am a head coverer, partial and full, and have found creative ways to do it. watch some tutorials on different ways of tying scarves. i wish you the best in your obedience to HIM. i am ethiopian messianic jew :-)

  • A main reason Muslim girls were this hijab is to show that they are of the islamic religion. You are not a muslim but you were something muslim women take seriously and might take it into offense. I am not trying to bash you, this is america u can do whatever.

  • @13moredays No, that's not true at all. I don't know where you're getting your information or who told you but Muslim women wear hijab for MODESTY. Not to identify as Muslim. Seriously...who told you that?

  • @andipoetic It is actually a sign for the public that a particular woman is muslim with their headcovering, you look like a muslim with the scarf, but good on you for being modest to be closer to God. Just be mindful that people will most likely think you are muslim in public with that scarf on, so be mindful with what you do in public as you will be looked upon and judged on by what your doing, by the religion people will think you are i.e a muslim woman...

  • It doesn't matter what religion I am. I'm a person. Judge me as a person, not a religion.

  • @andipoetic I respect you a lot

  • im extremley confused here i wear the hijab i am from lebanon were muslim!, what are you? your not muslim ur christan? :S what

  • you don't seems to be happy with that hijab

  • I would choose another place of worship. I had found that things like that happen in many Christian church's. They shun away those who truly seek God and forget what matters most. I was unaccepted in a Catholic church myself because I didn't have a catholic styled name to be blessed with. So I choose to try another place to worship. You just have to be that one brave soul who walks away to find a place where you feel you belong. Remember that the path to God isn't always the easiest route. It i

  • nuns cover their heads

  • You only have to wear it when you're in the act of prophesying or praying. so you don't have to wear it everywhere you go. you could wear a mantilla. all you'd have to do is pin it in when ready to pray.

  • I guess most people assume I'm Muslim. The few people who have asked me to my face were very respectful and honestly curious (especially because they all knew me as a Christian, and wondered if I had converted). At my age, I don't give a flying rat's patootie what anyone else thinks of me or my clothing choices. But, I don't always cover hijab-style. I do cover all of my hair, but sometimes will just use a big scarf. I also wear stuff most covering Muslimas wouldn't (tank tops, etc.)

  • @djmonique20 Both

"But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonoreth her head; for it is one and the same thing as if she were shaven" 1 Corinthians 11:5

  • @djmonique20 Yes, but the bible also says be on a constant state of prayer so that is why many Christian women that cover choose to do it full time

  • Show me one photo of marry mother of jesus without a scarf

  • Go ahead and wear it, I say. If it makes you happy to wear it, then sure.

I can't help but notice that you haven't made any videos about wearing it that seem like you're happy with it.

  • and u should wear what u wish, who cares what ppl think of, were not here to be judged by ppl, but by God!

  • hmmm....people should know that the hijab/headscarves were worn before muslims and what would the other churches think? are they serious..does it matter what you wear? i mean this is a joke, in the bible it talks about women covering their head and ppl now say the hair is the cover, which doesnt make sense. i mean i was catholic and i memorized the bible, i know this. ppl are changing the book cuz of this generation. anyways, this is coming from a muslim.

  • Christians have to cover their head as well.

"If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head." Corinthians 11:6

    SHOW THAT TO YOUR FAMILY!!!

  • @Lxcis I've shown that to them tens of thousands of times. They think I'm taking it out of context to get attention.

  • @andipoetic There are different types of hair coverings. You may need to find other ones and mix it up a little. You don't want to show too much hair though. I understand I'm 17 and I'm still trying to figure out how to tell my parents I want to do this.

  • @andipoetic I almost forgot to ask you...don't they know that Christianity came before Islam? Look at our nuns? Whose copying who? Actually the Jewish Women had it first! So tell them that!

  • @HisPhoenixCrusader

its not about copying you idiot. God didnt "invent" Islam in order to make it "better" than Judaism or Christianity, He brought the last Prophet pbuh because He wanted people to return to His ORIGINAL WORD, which was the Taurat, in which women are also commanded to cover their ornaments. Islam is about worshipping the God that Abraham worshipped, not making new inventions

  • @ILoveIslamInCanada Guess what? If you feel that Islam is somehow inferior then that's your issue. Other people in the congregation (of Christian believers) might believe this is a new invention. all I said man.

  • @HisPhoenixCrusader

how do you get that i think Islam is "inferior" from that comment? i dont care what Christians think wether or not they believe Islam was "invented" because i know the truth

  • @Lxcis Most christians have learned not to take the bible literally up till a point that the book itself became virtually irrelevant.

And I heartily support that position.

In contrast, islam has maneuvered itself into a position in which it became virtually impossible not to take the koran literally. And that is the problem all muslims are facing. Quite a struggle.

  • You got me confused during your video, are you Christian or Muslim ? I am just curious... honestly by reading the comments i didn't know that some Christian do wear head scarf

  • @Daviinchii Oh, loads of Christians do!

  • I am a christian who has discovered my Hebrew roots. I guess I'd be labeled Messianic. I also started covering my head when I was convicted to do so during my Scripture study. I wear snoods and also traditional Jewish style head scarves. Most of those who I fellowship with do not cover their hair. When I am at home with my husband I don't always cover. I do cover whenever I am away from home. I love to cover and my husband also approves.

  • @andipoetic so true

  • The reason why Muhammad wanted women to wear the hijab or burka (whatever) is because he couldnt resist the desire towards other women and he was jealous that other men were being seduced by his wives. Muhammad is a pathological psychopath. Islam is a pathological lie.

  • @Malsimilsum And you're a pathological idiot.

  • @Malsimilsum what r u talking about? educate urself, wtf is wrong with u loser?

  • @Malsimilsum Come on, Islam have some wise stuff too. Is not all like that

  • Stay strong! Queens wear crowns!

  • Do you know what is the difference between the veiled and non veiled foods such as convertibles and coated foods

    Features of the angels

  • Hey, I don't know if you are still wearing, I realize this quite a while after you originally posted this video. Do not stop covering your head. We are supposed to wear it while praying or prophesying (incl. reading the bible). Christians are to be in the "world" (society) but NOT OF it. I am orthodox christian, a lot of us cover our heads, especially in church. Its our choice, but if we are to pray ceaselessly, then when would I ever want take it off. You are right for putting God First.

  • I am a Christian, and I've started covering my head, but I want to be identified as a Christian, because that's what I am. Any tips?

  • @MissLeanaFaith cover your head....its in the bible...your the one going to heaven

  • @MissLeanaFaith Wear a cross necklace or a christian shirt. My general approach as a Christian was to wear knee shorts or short sleeves with a head covering, it doesn't say in the bible that women have to cover their arms or lower legs ('be modest' means cover the upper legs, in my opinion). And I also make the scarves bright and colourful when I went to church because, while Muslims DO wear bright colours, the church I went to assumed Muslim wore all black.

  • @MissLeanaFaith study islam

  • @BenciNaKamenci I have. Study Christianity

  • @MissLeanaFaith i have

  • @MissLeanaFaith very nice, may God guide us to the right path, amin

  • @davidbenjeshua Christians rely on faith at much at Muslism so don't give me that crap.

  • The Bible commands women to cover their heads. It's beautiful when they do. Now, it would be even nicer if you had a T-shirt that says : "Jesus is God". That way, people will not confuse you with a muslim, but will know that you are a christian, and are obeying the Bible.

  • YOU ARE PERFECT GIRL A BIG KISS FOR YOU OMMMMMAHHH

  • @askypea Creepy much?

  • WHERE ARE YOU FROM PLS ,?

  • my mom always makes flippant remarks but after the 100th time I just ignore them...whatever is going with her is her problem and her issues with my hijab. it's my body and she doesn't have the right to criticize...i ignore it

  • the only women we see practicing head coverings is Muslimah, doesn't mean they are the only ones allowed! I recently have been wearing scarves bc i think they are beautiful..the hijab is another way of wrapping the scarf. i found to like it best and plan to wear it often. doesnt change my faith in Jesus Christ..its just an article of clothing! However, you are young my dear and u are right to carry out the wishes of your parents. But dont worry. Stick to your beliefs & God knows your heart.

  • I find this mind boggling the response you got from your preacher...a preacher who should know the history of such things as head coverings. head coverings and scarves on the head have been around way before the religions decided to become denominated (catholics, islam, jewish, etc). he should be proud that a young lady of his church wants to practice modesty in the sake of Jesus Christ! SMH* granted, in the USA everyone wants to be so "modern" even the dress code in our religion. Just bc ...

  • In terms of the head scarf and the church - they both go hand in hand when it comes to nuns in monasteries etc. All pre-historic art relating to Christianity illustrates the head scarf as an integral piece of clothing. In terms of a Muslim and church goes - well this relationship is like oil and water, particularly when Muslims find it blasphemous to even envisage Jesus as a son of God or God or whateva.

  • It's amazing how these days women embrace the Hijab before embaracing or fully practising Islam. Usually, it was advised that reverts learn the religion and understand and practice Tawheed, learn to pray etc and in their own time within their own discretion women gradually adjusted to the Islamic dress code. But wow just to look how the West percieves the Hijab to be a symbol of opression and it's the first things a lot of women are attracted to before reverting to Islam - it's astonishing.

  • contact with i will change yu life h_youssef@live.com

  • @Shu0Nine1993 Uh, how about no. Creeper much?

  • you look nice dont worry to much bout it little sister.

  • you have my sympathies. I'm a Christian hijabi but I'm 27.

your preacher can't actually tell you what to wear if you're dressed decently. I see this was posted last yr so hopefully things are ok now. I'm actually horrified a preacher would tell a young lady she's too covered! so what if you look like a Muslim?! tell them you're not! simple! you have the right to wear whatever you want to church. I'm dumbfounded so this message probably makes om sense! x

  • design your own head covering, don't immitate what's already out there, have you tried the mantilla?

  • Why don't you get a Messianic prayer shawl with a star of David on it. There is a Messianic Church of Christ synagogue in Israel.

  • Andipoet,

What made you switch to Islam? When you knew the true words of God and his true freedom? What made you turn? Don't turn from Jesus and is your family Muslim too or what?

  • @coffeeandalaptop muslim believe in jesus we love jesus im a muslim.christian turn from jesus bcoz they dont follow jesus .just for your information

  • @tristanadam94

You do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, because you believe that God does not have "children", I have seen and heard that straight out of an Imam's mouth! You believe that Jesus is a 'prophet' of God. When he is actually God come down in the flesh. Making a sacrifice for us so that WE i.e ANYONE can be saved of their sins and go to heaven. You do NOT go to heaven because of Good works and do not tell me christians dont follow Jesus, I DO and Im a christian. 4 ur info!

  • @coffeeandalaptop HEY!!!! STOP FIGHTING!!!!!

  • @coffeeandalaptop friend you have a clear answer i refer you to see my answer on youtube is jesus son of god by zakir naik.plz watch it.ok

  • That's really intolerant, so if it makes you look Muslim? Don't feel bad about ur fam, they just don't understand. my friend started warring hijab around may of this year and is going through kind of the same thing, not only do they make wired comments like "can you just try to look like part of this family." they basically use to force her to take it off. (not exaggerating) the best thing I can tell you is don't give in the more you ware it and show them you care about it they will let off.

  • What is the song you were listening to? About head covering? I admire you for sticking up for what you believe. :) My Christ bless you with wisdom and peace about your decision in covering!

  • I am a follower of Jesus. I think it's just fine for you to dress however you want. I pretty much agree with everything you are saying. Please don't let your church's wrong ideas make you leave Jesus or the church. Ps. I think it's great that you still respect your Pastor's wishes the best you can, make God will teach you something profound about people and weird church ideology through this experience.

  • @lionheart88100 Oh, yes, because YOU'RE not a sick, twisted fuck up.

  • @lionheart88100 No, no, I'm not going to dismiss you like that. I'm not going to do what you want, but I have always wondered WHY people have that fetish. What makes you want to have sex with me? Why do you have the hijab fetish?

  • @lionheart88100 sick perv!! lol

  • @lionheart88100 disgusting and disgraceful on your behalf for writing this! you're a PIG!

  • Before 1979, Muslim women were not wearing the hijab/chador/burka. They had stopped in the 1920's, by 1950's - 1979, very few until Khomeni. Muslims argue that koran say its actually a room screen divider or actually a belt. In the Bible, Satan comes down as an angel of light to a false prophet who says he comes in Jesus's name yet denies he is the Christ and decieves many nations with a false peace. God warns not to bow down to a black rock. and Jesus rips all the cresents off the camels.

  • @buddhistflower 'In the Bible, Satan comes down as an angel of light to a false prophet who says he comes in Jesus's name yet denies he is the Christ and decieves many nations with a false peace.'

Exactly. Mohammed was Satan manifesting on earth. Satan, the Great Deceiver, wants to corrupt and make suffer God's creations. Islam is evil, and it spreads suffering wherever it goes.

  • @MohammedTheBabyRaper you filth

The Bible is the most dangerous book on earth, keep it away from children (George Bernard Shaw)

A girl three years and one day old is betrothed by intercourse. "A girl three years old may be betrothed through an act of sexual intercourse," the words of R. Meir

  • The Talmud is merely rabbinical opinion.

  • @marwajabs718 I'm Muslim now, this video was made when I was Christian

  • @andipoetic Looks like you latch on to these religious wackos. Do yourself a big favor and get away from these people whether they are christian or muslim. Run for your life. Religious folks only want to steal your identity and individuality. These people are like vampires. I don't care what they tell you. They are all completely full of shit. There are no gods or demons and life is not a dress rehersel. So go live your life and have fun without getting into too much trouble. Use birth control.

  • @somethingdiffereable Dude, I believe in religion. That doesn't make me a bad person and no one is trying to steal my identity or individuality. In fact, where I go now, I'm encouraged to be myself. You don't need to insult religious people just because you aren't religious. It sets a bad example. No wonder atheists have to keep assuring the world that they're good people with guys talking like you running around.

  • Some people have stared at me, but no one has outright confronted me or asked me about it. But I did talk with my pastor before I started wearing it. But for the most part, I'm lucky to have a fairly open-minded town. I don't think anybody should have a problem with modesty in church, especially not modesty that is referenced in the Bible. I'm truly sorry that you have to deal with that, but stay strong.

  • Read (1 Corinthians 11) I hope this helps. I go to a Pentecostal church and I am the only one that covers my head during church.

  • Awwwwwww shes stunning ....xxxx

  • I think u should wear!

  • i go through the same thing to th echurch i go wear hats and dollies i use to wear the dollies but i got the revelation on wearing the hijab i go through it to i dont care what people think and you shouldnt either

  • Mashallah sister cong for islam,i'm 22 year old born muslim and i just started wearing hijab couple months ago. i love it and i feel closer to God

    God bless you

  • Mashallah! Welcome to the faith! I too had similiar issues when I first started wearing the hijab before converting. No one told me to take it off, but a lot of people did get onto me for it. I am so glad to learn that you have converted! And btw... I wish more girls felt hijab was necessary. too much immodesty these days!

  • My dear I am so very sorry that you are having a hard time with this. I would want to tell you that you need to go to another church but however in this day and age finding one that would not look at you like that. You youth leader's ignorance is what bothers me the most. If he was to read his Bible he would see that women are instructed to cover their head during prayer.

My dear worry less of what others thing of you and more of how God feels.

  • Sorry I'm late in congratulating you to Islam sister. I'm proud of you and your choices with wanting to be like the mother of Jesus a noble and respected woman. May Allah keep you strong in your faith and keep you on the straight path. Pls now that u have reverted be careful of those who will try their best to misguide you!

  • why do u wear a headscarf if your not muslim just convert sister dont be like that may god guide you Ameen

  • @bubbles3121 This is an old video, I have converted to Islam actually

But the Christian bible says for women to cover their heads too, so I was going by that command. Besides, even if it was nothing to do with religion...what's wrong with just wearing a headscarf for modesty?

  • @andipoetic andi welcome to islam. If you have any questions at all email me I will ask any questions you have.

  • @andipoetic Mash'Allah!!

  • @andipoetic for modesty? you had to through that word in there. The reason why you all stress modesty so much is because you know well the real reason is submission. Otherwise you wouldn't bother, also it wouldn't be a problem to take it of every now and then. But it is, I guess modesty can run away if you show your hair in public for a minute.

I am sorry to break it to you like this: but you are pathetic and you know it. Get real.

  • @andipoetic

    LADIES ARE SUPERIOR !

  • @andipoetic

Um, I saw another video of yours earlier and I made a comment about this. So, I now know you knew it. However, I do hope you do see the rest I wrote. I do have a question for you. If you mind answering, just please tell me in a nice way you mind. What made you completely convert to Islam? Live pure for what ever religion you choose.

  • @andipoetic There is nothing wrong with covering your head. The Bible commands women to cover their head, while praying or prophesying. This is why you watch the queens and princesses (Elizabeth of England, Sophia of Spain, Sonja or Norway, Diane of Wales, etc) ALWAYS wearing a hat at church (Although their behaviour is not always in obedience to Christ). Instead, males are forbidden to pray uncovered. This is why men take their hats off before eating, since we pray, giving thanks for the food.

  • Comment removed

  • The Holy Bible actually has more commands to wear a head scarf than the quran. Look at the Virgin Mary and the other women of that era. And if he says it doesn't apply today than he is walking on thin ice because he is saying that we only follow certain parts of the Bible. God bless

  • I am sorry you are going through this. It must be very stressful. The headscarf is not a Muslim thing. Women covering their heads actually started with Judaism, then Christianity, and then by Muslims. Although this may be difficult for you, I think you may be learning a lesson about how strong all women who wear the headscarf really are (regardless of religion). We wear it for God; no one else, and what God thinks of us is more important than what society wants to mold us into. =)

  • @K8elicious it is the truth the veil was raised to the original, by all subject to God

But Western civilization has imposed critireres of beauty inspires the devil

it makes me laugh to see you imitate the Muslims but you continue to say that jesus is god

    peace on you

  • @arifi13 I am reading my comment and wondering where I said Jesus was God. Are you assuming I am Christian? Why?

  • @K8elicious oops I'm sorry sister, I use google translation

I do not understand English and I also believe not understand what you said

I also see that you was Muslim

    sorry sister

  • @arifi13 It is ok, Brother. Just don't laugh at women who choose to cover, no matter what their religion is. They are often misunderstood and don't always receive support from their families. They need our support. Asalamu alaikom wa rahmatullah wa barakato.

  • I too am Christian and Veil. :) I hope God gives you the strength to keep doing it!

  • was ok I understand now

    I understand bad English

ahahhahah j'immagine the head of your pastor -))) hhhhh

  • c'est une blague? is joke no??

  • I remember when i was a christian and was veiling like a muslim, and when i went to church it was a little experiement. I wore my hijab at skool, and in public, but not at church, and definately not ready to wear it at work, so at least i wore my black al-amira hijab 4x, i think, i was scared the first time, ok the 2nd, 3rd didn't care who saw, and forth or third somebody asked if i was a muslim , but nowadays some of my fam used to give me hard times, now it has calmed down

  • I know its hard to stay modest and to wear hijab whe nthe world is telling you to conform to there ideals, but you need to stay strong. It is different for me because I am 22, but I started to make myself be heard at much younger. I used to be afraid to say what I thought and go against what my parents thought, but not now. It is true that you have to respect your parents but just because they gave you life doesn't mean they can control you and force there beliefs on you. God loves you!!

  • I was raised Catholic/Christian. I found the truth in Islam. I reverted to Islam after doing much research. It wasn't until a little while after that I decided to wear the hijab. Many times my mom makes comments about maybe putting on some makeup or not coveringh up so much. I say flat out no. My grandma doesn't agree with my covering, but It doesn't matter to me. I talk in a respectful way and make my beliefs be heard. I am still a fun. life loving woman. I am just doing what God asks of me. ..

  • I'm sorry that everyone gives you a hard time about your choice to cover yourself. I never understood what "the church's" issue with covering was since even the bible says women should cover their hair. My parents were both ministers and were very anti-Islam until they saw how kind my husband was with them. I always thought it was such a shame that my parents and the church I attended were not the best behaved and that my husband had to put up with so much nastiness.

  • Its too bad you have to go through all this to do what you think is right. My parents were both ministers and they didn't like it either when I started covering and they made it too difficult to continue in front of them for years. Now I'm older they deal with it and keep their opinions to themselves. I have a feeling they only hold their peace because they are afraid that I won't help them if they say anything. Little do they know that it wouldn't make any difference if they still gave

  • I think you should stand your ground, don't let others say it isn't right. It is God's word. You are brave enough to do it, and we support you here. Their are 100 ways you can tie the scarf, but you have to stand up for what you believe in. Don't let others discourage you. It is ridiculous that they are telling you not to wear it, are they afraid people are going to look into other religions and they won't have the answers for them? Don't give in to others it's btw you and God.

  • 12In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 2 Timothy 3:12 .... Just know that this is a form of persecution for living in Christ, however small it may seem. If a Christian is not being persecuted for living for Jesus, then there is something wrong. Jesus SAID we'd be persecuted. Rejoice in suffering for the name of Jesus!

  • It sounds like your youth minister is embarrassed by your head covering, and doesn't want to bring a scene upon his group or him, personally. The fact that he would discourage you from doing something the bible commands, disturbs me, but we cannot change the views of others. Be blessed, stay encouraged, and know that you are supported and loved here! Stereotypes are not God's way. God loves ALL people. You know this. Don't waiver in your faith, sister.

  • Are you also not allowed to cover your head in a way that only coveres your head and not your neck ? Maybe you could tie your scarfs in the back and then make a knot. This way I wouldnt really look muslim...but also, I think your problem is very strange...my grand-grandmother almost always wore a headscrarf, and nobody worried about it then.

  • @Zoephie I thought about that and I'm probably going to try that tichel one that was suggested to me. It was also suggested by someone that I could show my bangs and wear it loose so it shows some of my neck and I USED to wear it loose but I was ALWAYS messing with it! I was always afraid it would fall off or something, lol...I guess I'll just have ot get used to that again, lol

  • I think girls look beautiful in headscarves, I dunno why there's such an upset about it from people, I think it's very elegant and pretty, even attractive, but maybe that's just me. I say wear what you want and let God decide how faithful you are.

  • @gothergood I find it beautiful too....and it's not beautiful in the showing-all-the-skin-you-can way which makes it even better.

What I don't get is why the celebs are getting away with wearing dresses that I frequently mistake for shirts yet, when someone wants to be EXTRA modest, everyone torments them to no end. it makes absolutely no sense.

  • @andipoetic

I suspect that fear and hatred of religion has a lot to do with anti-modesty sentiment...

  • @andipoetic

Did you know your a one in a million person?

Hard to find truthfullness in the other 999999.

See if your dad and the church will let you tie it like a tichel (if you like that). Go to tznius(dot)com and click on "How do I tie my scarf?" It's the traditional Jewish way to cover, and it doesn't cover your neck, but it does covers your hair.

Anyway, don't despair. If it's God's will for you to cover your hair, He'll find a way for you to do it.

  • I covered my head in high school for a while, and then for a while a couple of years ago, both times with bandanas and headbands, and my mom didn't really like it. That's why I kinda stopped for a while. She's a Christian, but she thinks it's ridiculous. I cover my head now, though, because she lets me (begrudgingly), and because I want to honor my Lord first and foremost. It is important to obey your parents, though, so if your dad doesn't like it, I wouldn't wear it.

  • @rosey4exclaim I took it off when he told me too, he said he wasn't going to film with me wearing it so I stepped behind the camera and let him play his music. It annoyed me, but I did it.

My father isnt a Christian. And the bible says obey your parents ONLY if what they say doesn't conflict with what the Lord says. I try to go by that....I try.
