Second. If it's humid where you live make sure you have an extended warranty policy. I'm in Costa rica, MACland, and 4 friends have had severe laptop failure. 3 of us had motherboard death, $1300 to repair !

One had a monitor death after 18 months.That laptop was used ONLY as a desktop in a hotel.

None of these machines are over 26 months old.

For me ? The Latitude E6400 XFR with Ubuntu. Bye Bye Macintrash.
