The problem is not a failure to imagine future technologies. The problem is a failure to make use of what technologies we have now to reinvent the world. Humans are only using about 10% of their brains. What if we were using 20% or 30%? The world would be a much different place. Instead we are moving towards a future that looks more like the "Idiocracy" envisioned by Mike Judge. This vid has <1000 views. Look at the kind of vids on YT that get 100K+ or 1M+ views if you need proof. No hope.
