Yes, he does run slow and looks stiff, but if you look closer, the ACTUAL gameplay section at 0:26 is quite different to the parts with sonic in the foreground.

I think (like pretty much everyone) thar the running animation is REALLY bad, it looks kike Sonic is walking happily, and the animation of jumping-running-jumping is horrible, with no transitions. The explosions also look bad, like "stock footage". I hope some fixes to make it look less like Sonic Rush and more like the Genesis games.

They couldn't have made a better decision than to go old-school. The only problem I have is that I think it should've been HD sprites, not 3d models, it gives the game kind of a shoddy look. But the fact that the story picks up after Sonic 3 and Knuckles is all I could've asked for!

WTFu talkin about its a TEASER trailer first of all. second of all, Sega has been saying, since this was first known as "Project Needlemouse", that it would be 3D side scroller, similar to the 2D sections in Sonic Unleashed. They NEVER said that they would use Sonic's classic look. Dont get me wrong i love Sonic 1,2, and 3&k to death, but ur juss over reacting to nothing serious. Classic Sonic is Sonic.
