  • beaut

  • Aww, they're doing the Raymonda variation. :) Amazing technique...I wish I had their bodies - a bit too skinny, but I'll still take it! xD

  • They Are Wonderful! Aah I Wish I Was That Good! <3 Ballet

  • All of them them are incredible, but the girl in the middle has just that little edge above the others. She is fantastic! :)

  • Omg they are amazing, such good technique and control

  • it's not like they can help being skinny. try dancing strenuously for 8 hours a day, for pretty much your entire childhood up till young adulthood, and see if you're still going to be fat and jiggly. their entire bodies are muscle, it's not like a weak bag of bones..

  • nice technique but.. their body shape not so much. i know they are healthy but they look like skeletons. ..:/

  • If they were not getting the nutrients they need they wouldn't be able to dance like this. Just saying

  • @Catts103 its not like saying this will change anything so why even bother posting it?

  • I love ballerinas in red leotards!!!

  • I love this combination. I'm totally going to use it in class tonight!

These girls are fantastic. I also wonder how old they are.

  • Their legs are sooooo long, I wonder how tall they are?

  • ugh- you can clearly see their pelvic bones at around 0:36. nice combination, though

  • They do it very clean, very beautiful, but it could be more expressive.

  • i dont get it when people say ballerinas are too thin, their muscles are just stretched super long, not bulky like runners and gymnists, and any ballet dancer, company dancers, not any girl in a ballet class, knows that your thin because the amount of exersise ballet really is it takes a tone of time to become a good ballet dancer many years so of course they are going to be thin and slender

  • @angelbaby233 it's also because being thin makes the lines look better. Ballet is all about lines. If a girl is curvy it kills the lines... so these girls are naturally thin. It tops schools like this the teachers hand pick girls who have this body type.... and if they arent they push them to be thinner...

  • @XxBallerina4ChristxX yeah ... I agree. Ever seen a popular solo ballet dancer on stage, who was curvy or even a little bit "female" ? That's life - you can have the passion for ballet but if you don't have the body and (way more important) the feet, your chances aren't very good ...

  • damn these girls are robots.. in a good way!

  • I'm honest..

    I can't do adagios..

    too slow.. :(

  • omg thats like my thing !!!!

  • omfg, they have legs like grissini! xDDD

  • lol, i could do that! hahaha, got the same body, just a couple layers of fat wrapped around ! lol, they are absolutely amazing!!!

  • @soulpath81 um ya lol :-\ ops

  • this is form raymonda's variation... amazing!

  • amei

  • Been doing ballet for 13 years im 16 right now. I train at utah reginal. But i just got excepted to ballet west im so excited!

  • you mean accepted.

  • they are perfect indeed

  • i think the first one's croise is a little over crossed..

  • if anything is making them long very slim, it's the leotard design. Take a closer look & you'll see that the leotards are very elongated on the pelvic region, triangular, not rounded or square.

  • I definitely could have used a leotard like that!

  • stunning dancing!

  • Oh my god, they have such LONG and SLIM and STRONG legs! I think my legs are long and strong, but they're morbidly obese compared to these girls. lol

  • lets leave that to ur ballet teacher. Ive been doing pointe since 9 1/2. Im 10. Im not skinny. Im kinda over weighted but im good a ballet. xD GOING TO SOAK CITY FOR SAFTEY PATROL they r closing Soak City down for Chula Vista Saftey Patrol. YAAAAAAAAAAAAY....wat...theres more to life than just ballet but i do luv ballet..eh.

  • they are perfect

  • and balanceee

  • im jelous of thir stability...

  • Hey, it's part of the Raymonda variation!

  • fantastic!!!

  • their leotards creep me out lol their so high legged. :S

*runs off to buy one to make my legs look longer*

  • they're perfect....

  • these dancers are realllyyy good. but i think they need to work on really pushing over on their pointe shoes.

  • they were graceful

but never all three of them were on the same timing

  • Actually, that's due to their training. Misty Copeland is a black dancer with ABT - and she's skinner than ALL of them.

  • kind of an offensive comment

  • thats really rude. im black skinny, and im in ballet

u should keep your rude comments to yourself

but i do agree, their dancing is amazing

  • not all black people are busty i would watch your mouth!

  • What are you talking about? Leotards that make the legs look longer are much better than ones that make your legs look stubby. As for their thin bodies, anyone who is a true ballet dancer knows that thin bodies that are healthy and strong (for females) are the preferred bodies to work with. No man wants to be damaged by lifting someone over the "proper dancers" weight and physique. These girls are talented, and instead of hating on them, congratulate them. Jealousy is just wrong.

  • @dinomyte86 I completely agree!=)

  • @dinomyte86 you're right, that's the kind of body dance companies hire! and as you said, they look for 'healthy' and strong dancers. so even if those ballerinas are starving themselves, they can't keep it up for much longer because of how much exercise they do. they're just genetically gifted and very hard working.

  • I think the leotards look nice on their thin bodies. They make the legs look longer and show off their muscles. Besides they are not way too skinny, they are just the right size for all they dancing they do.

  • for their height too and probably age as well. they look pretty young. a couple of the girls i dance with have nearly the same physique and don't worry, she EATS aLOT.

and i thought leotards and thights where like...THE outfit for ballet...standard uniform?:P

and i've always noticed that most dancers in ballet are quite slim, regardless of nationality and race, they all seem quite slim, not bony thin but slim

  • i like the one in the middle best

  • I also think they're A BIT too skinny.. but the technique is magnificent!

  • its not fair...they have good legs :L very long and lean not to metion strong and toned. I do dancing now but need to strengthen my legs...well my quads...does anyone have any tips?

  • actually it's harder for asians(not being racist here)well, most asians because they're "bow-legged" instead of having straight legs their legs are somewhat bent inward after the knee. sort of like being double jointed there. so it's amazing that they can do these things.

  • It's also harder for us because most Asians have flat feet so even when we fully point, the arch goes a liiiitle unnoticed.

  • that's not quite true. I happen to know a lot of Asians with GREAT feet. Also depends on the area of Asia you come from I believe. Anyway, these girls have great feet, it's the ballet shoes that don't show off their feet. Chinese ballet shoes aren't made with great material.... =/

  • i know what you mean my feet are exactly like that

  • so THAAT's why.....i point till my arches crap and still my teacher says..POINT harder..ur not pointing!!

    >.>

  • ha!, es la variación de raymonda

    el adagio

  • such nice legs!! i'm jealous!!

    haha!

    the middle one is amazing!!

  • such strong legs O_O

Ballet is really a dance where it took training to master...

  • These girls are amazing! I just took up ballet again after 10 years and they are an inspiration!

  • nossa, elas são muito boas, mas deveriam estar mais iguais na "coreografia"

ahhh, elas são muito magras, putz..

  • Wow, just purely AMAZING!! For some reason I have an urge to madly practice my extensions. And lose weight. Does anybody know how old these girls are? Either way, it's really great :)

  • me too! i'm so inspired by dancers this good!!!

  • Just wow ! Breathtaking.

Makes you want to get up and practice ballet :)

  • too skinny

going to ballet class for the first time tomorrow!

  • how old r u and wat ballet school r u going to its really hard to start ballet after your like 7 and hopefully your goin to a pre pro school

  • what the hell. no

even if your 18 and u start ballet u can still become a professional.

my old ballet teacher started ballet when she was 22, she's now 50 and she just retired from a professional company

  • two of the most globally well known ballet dancers started when they were 17.

  • OMJ! I am so glad you posted this! Iv always wanted to start ballet since I was little (im 17 now) but didnt want to start on my own, i started ballet a little over 5 months ago. My gymnastics helps so much (im already quite strong), I could be working towards pointe after christmas, my only regret is that i didnt start sooner! I only have one 1hr 30mins class a week but practice alot at home!

  • im in the same boat sister...but better late than never..dance is amazing

  • i smell what your steppin in cus im steppin in it too. (lol)

sometimes i think i started ballet too late but im happy cus its sooo amazing and i love it

im also happy cus my older sister started even later than me so that boosts my confidence lol

  • You have to dance at least five times a week, hun :) The best is six! Good Luck!!<3

  • and who are they?

  • Just out of curiosity, may I ask who you're referring to?

  • I don't think they're "too skinny". They're lovely.

  • u no what? asians r kool so don't freakin' insult them

  • lol i luv how they all match

  • I HATE ADAGIO

but they make it seem so easy!!! i wish i could dance like that :[

  • i go to da ballet school

    DAT WAS AMAZING

    HOW SKINNY ARE THEY GAWD

MY MUM SAYS I'M TO THIN TAKE A LOOK AT THEM

  • okay apparently this topic requires a bit of explanations for some. Asians are NOT any more genetically predisposed to thinness than any another race. These girls look this way because of their discipline, and daily practice. These chinese dance academies literally requires you to practice for >6hrs/day, and you have to live and breath ballet in order to just keep your spot in the school. Having said that, how can they ever get fat.

So don't insult them because of your own insecurities.

  • well said!

  • theyre so amazing :D

but they shoes that will show off their arches better {:]

  • this exercise is also a shortened version of the variation raymonda if i'm not mistaken. they're amazing!

  • that is wat i thort!

  • these girls are just fantastic. thank you for posting this video. It serves as an inspiration for those who really appreciate and love the artform.

  • They make me want to strap on my shoes and dance like there's no tomorrow.

  • i wish i cud dance lik dat!

  • That was cool

  • beautiful technique but i want to give them a cookie or something

  • LMAO!!!!!!!

  • sorry, what?

  • sory, i wanted to say

how old are they instead of how all

    hahahhaa sorry

  • sory, i wanted to say

how old are they instead of how all

    hahahhaa sorry

  • sory, i wanted to say

how old are they instead of how all

    hahahhaa sorry

  • the leotards are as they are to create the illusion of long legs, although it looks like tey already do.

  • wow wonderfull!!!!!!!

    how all were they?

and do they eat? because they are so skinny

  • yes they eat, they jsut eat healthy and in small, small portions i bet.

  • they really perfect!

  • look at the russian girls in vaganova that is skinny!

  • they're so skinny!!

  • I'm asian and i dont have a high arch

  • heroes!

  • weirdo!

  • those leotards don't look very comfortable...:]

  • They're not

  • lol, so true, that cud be the worst time to get a wedgie

  • oh, wait.... they r..... oops :)

  • There feet are amazing!

They are so together and it looks like they are at a performance!

    :)

  • some of u guys probably never realize the differences in "arches" between western and asian dancers. I am asian and only a few of my colleagues got high arches like most western dancers. But that doesn't mean we have no feet strength. Instead we work extra hard for it.

  • i agree

most people think that archy people have stronger feet, but they're feet are SOOO weak. its really the flattest arhes that have strong feet.

  • I have a very high arch but my feet aren't weak..So please watch with what you're steryotyping..

It depends on how you are whether a flater arch or a high arch is strong or not. Some people naturally 'over arch' and yes,it's harder to deal with, but once you learn how to control it,you can be very strong so your steryotype is very incorrect.Having an 'under arch', you deal with the same thing,so it really all depends on your personal body and how you've accustomed to it.Race has a say in it too.

  • dude

no need to get in a bitch fight with me.

besides, i posted that comment what 2 MONTHS ago

maybe my mind has chanegd since then, and seriously

    if you want to argue

dont hide behind you computer looking to correct someones mistake

    jesus

  • Wow..I was just putting in my opinion..Sorry if it sounded like a bad thing because I didn't mean it to.

  • Seriously. She was speaking the truth; and just because you posted it 2 months ago doesn't make you any less stupid.

Sorry, but if you are a bitch, that's what you get back.

  • but they do have very nice feet. they are very controling.. :)

  • god you guys.

i post my opinion and thoughts on the internet

    and get yelled at back.

besides dont repay evil with evil cbachick17

    and seriously.

    we all love ballet right?

so whats the point screwing our passion over a dumb video?

    think about it.

and now i am done responding to your guy's lame comments

    see ya.

  • how much years has got girls??

  • c'est trop beau !!!! je les admire vraiment ! =)

  • mh, they are extremly flowing an have a great technique, but their feet, their arch... i don't now... maybe they've just got bad shoes, but this would be the next thing to work on ;-) lol, otherwise WOW

  • they probably don't have big feet.

  • Mm, no, its not their feets strength, otherwise they wouldn't be able to roll onto pointe so easily.

    AMAZING!

  • amazing work =)

  • toutes ces vidéos sont vraiment magnifiques, et les filles aussi! quelle allure et quelle présence...

  • they're lovely. who's the one in the middle?

  • Yao Wei, now with Royal Danish Ballet the one on the right is Zhong-Jing Fang, now with American Ballet Theater, I don't know the name of the girl on the left.

  • magnifique

  • how old are they??

  • Can't decide which colour border is worst!

  • actually the border does take away from the dancers' extensions. it's really not working there as such. but perhaps the original recording is like that. it is a fantastic and a valuable resource though. thanks for sharing

  • Yup - green is definitely worst.

  • oh thats what Zhong jing fang used in a competition... i think she won too

  • They are so good!!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • thats the variation of Raymonda,I just found out.

  • Great Legs, but what a boring exercise.
