@mr Jodolo...my sentiments exactly....40 yrs ago (in HS) I was the Boogieman....I still boogie on my roland board but the fingers just aren't as limber anymore and I just pretend I can boogie like I used to. (damn stiffness) Beanicus
I used to play boogie as a young man, then life's responsibilities took over. For 40 years. Recently I came across this man on YouTube and dammit I'm off again!! It hurts the joints but thank you Johan!
@MrJodolo Wow...you're me. I was the boogieman in my hs years...65-69 and then boogied at the USOs in the army...then had all these old uprights ...I put thumbtacks in the felt hammers so it would be metal against metal as they struck the strings and it was the coolest ol' rinky-tink Joanne Castle type sound. Reminiscing about those years came flooding back when I, too, discovered these boogie pianists on you tube and haven't come back down to earth yet..

@TheBeanicus Sounds familiar! I did the same with the thumbtacks but never was very good. I see now these Yamaha P80/85/90/95 pianos that sound great for around $500. Makes me want to go buy one. i just love Boogie and this guy is great! Odd. You'd think Boogie wouldn't be that big in Europe but that's where they hold an annual Boogie festival!
Johan, you are truly a gifted man. Do you have a CD I can buy, I can't seem to locate it on the internet. Harold Fitzgerald, South Carolina
