It makes me wonder about some of the people I have casually judged in passing. What are their stories? So many poor people marginalized and bypassed...
this multi modal education bs is so ridiculous. I can made it through school with my visual and auditory needs "neglected" just fine and graduated in the top 20 of my class. School is reading...writing...discussion, verbal and reading comprehension skills, we cannot put on a bell and whistle show just because a kid can't learn without a damn orchestra and trapeze show going on in the background. If you can't learn by reading writing and discussion school is not for you

@ThousanFallingHearts no, I don't know what it's like, I just don't think society has the time or resources to devote to the laggers while the US falls precipitously below other nations in education. If we devoted more resources to the people who can learn in the traditional manner and less time "herding cats" we might be more successful as a nation. School just doesn't work for some people but that doesn't mean we have to change school to work for the minority of "difficult" people.
