I can see why the government might want to step in to save one of the countries landmark companies. I mean, as an outsider I look at Coke, General Motors, AOL, and I see AMERICA, you know? So if I hear one of those companies goes down, I'm going to think America is in deep financial shit.
So from a pure "lets show confidence" point of view, they are doing the right thing. I can understand why taxpayers aren't happy about it, though.
NO! Because each dollar that goes to these companies is money that has left a taxpayer, and the economy loses its productiveness by having the money all siphoned off and given to inefficient companies that can't compete instead of going to where the people want the money to go to.
I could tell at the end of the video. That's why were in this mess to begin with. I've bought a few Ford's, Dodge's, and Chevy's.. It's important to do that. The day GM filed bankruptcy 80 people right here in Jax Fl. lost their jobs.
lol. toyota builds their cars right here in america. thats not why were in this mess. i owned many fords and gm's/ they all sucked. if american car companies put decent cars on the rode without charging so much they could compete. and ignore the union, they had nothing to do with their fall, huh?
tough one, do you let them go outta biz and have 10's of thousands be unemployed. But at the same time, I don't think my tax dollars should be used to pay the pensions/wages of people making $75 p/hr to mindlessly put the same bolt in the same spot time after time. It is almost like sports teams, they are pricing themselves out of a comppetive biz because the unions demand so much.
The password code was rebelion which seemed fitting.
Nice on using the G1 but the sound is really low.
I think American cars suck and we should just let it go! Germany makes better cars and beer for that matter, France makes better chocolate, South Korea has better internet, let's just stick with McDonalds and making ppl fat. It's what we do best.
