  • I'm sure that this patriotic song captured the popular spirit of the day. A young, growing nation filled with recent arrivals happy to belong and proud to serve her in a less than perfect world.

  • @bostonblakie Wish the same could be said about today. How ya doing there buddy? Nice to hear from you. Got some good tunes coming up soon.

  • Great!!!! I've been hunting for this type of music. Thanks for uploading these oldies!!!

  • I have many more of these that I plan uploading, stay tuned.

  • Its funny, cause America didn't do anything in ww1, France and Britain where fine.

  • I am not sure what history book you were reading?

  • I am reading from non-American ones. You know the ones that dosn't say America has done everything under the sun?

  • I won't argue with you since it won't be worth my time. YOU HAVE ALREADY CLOSED YOUR MIND TO ANY OPEN DISCUSSION.

  • america didnt do anything in ww1? so those 100 thousand or so people who died... they did nothing right? You should be ashamed. By the way im Canadian so dont go throwing some anti america bs my way. Also if it werent for america lending france money in both world wars they would still be in ruins. so show some god damn respect. im sick of all this anti american bullshit. Dont deny it. France received so much money in the marshall plan.

  • Pres. Wilson was forced into WW1 by Big Business. He broke his promise. I"ll keep you our of the War! It may have made the U.S. a World Power, but look at the cost in lives..........

  • Different times but same old story.

  • Very rousing! Very nice presentation. Most enjoyable

    Thank you for sharing

  • Excellent selection for this day commemorating both world wars!

  • I have to say that I really like these old WW1 songs. War is always a sad thing so it seems strange that so much upbeat music could be written for it.

  • A great record by a great quartet! I first heard this Peerless Quartet recording nearly 30 years ago and I still enjoy it.
