america didnt do anything in ww1? so those 100 thousand or so people who died... they did nothing right? You should be ashamed. By the way im Canadian so dont go throwing some anti america bs my way. Also if it werent for america lending france money in both world wars they would still be in ruins. so show some god damn respect. im sick of all this anti american bullshit. Dont deny it. France received so much money in the marshall plan.

I have to say that I really like these old WW1 songs. War is always a sad thing so it seems strange that so much upbeat music could be written for it.

A great record by a great quartet! I first heard this Peerless Quartet recording nearly 30 years ago and I still enjoy it.
