I believe the Clash at one point planned to release one single every month for a whole year (with Bankrobber being the first one) prior to recording Sandinista, but their record company wouldn't allow it, so Bankrobber only appeared on the Black Market Clash compilation album.

Upon seeing Rocknrolla and hearing this amazing song I downloaded this and threw it on my MP3. I was listening to it in my car while my girl was with me, when she heard this she said told me to turn it off because it sounded horrible. I pulled over and told her that I thought the hood wasn't closed all the way and told her to check it. Needless to say, I give her props for holding on to the grill for that half a mile. If only she had a better taste in music.

At least he did so much with the short time he had & left a legacy that will last forever. In a way I'm proud that he didn't leave in the typical "rock star" fashion - drug overdose, suicide, etc - but peacefully & naturally, after walking his dogs of all things! He was one of the greats.
