@TheOneChriss i did but i just like the Evans heads so it would look weird to have remo rings on Evans heads lol its not aesthetically pleasing so I don't use em

by the way if you do watch my vid, its not the bass/snare im worried about so much, its the toms which i dont really use in the video

hey ive got the exact same kit, even down to the colour (you can check my vid) although ive changed the drum heads.. the thing is my drums sound awful! please could you give me some tuning tips cos i love the sound your drums make and mine are just horrible lol, i never thought it had the potential to sound this good!

@theairborne145 well its all up to personal preference but firstly watch a bob gatzen tuning video but then take both of your heads of the drum and tap the shell with your finger nail this will give you the pitch of the shell tune the heads to that sound then tune the bottom head a 1/8 turn higher that gives it the dampening effect if this does not work instead turn the top head 1/8 turn on each lug either one i forgot which will give you a damp deep rich tone out of your drum hope this helps

Has anyone gotten or know about the Mapex Horizon HZB Lacquer 7-Piece Shell Pack by any chance cause I plan on getting it from musicians friend?

@Metallimaniac95 There would be two possiblilities, A 14x14 floor tom or another bass drum just ask him

@Rubberduckydrummer It looks alot like yours, I don't know if you've seen it or not, but it has the same shell pack as yours but with 14x14 and 16x16 Ft's but no cymbals and stands.

But Musicians Friend is a website not a person by the way if that's what you thought.

how good quality is it? im thinking of getting this kit in blue but im not sure if im better off with a pearl forum fz

@thefrostydrummer The pearl forum fz comes with cymbals but the quality is nowhere near as good, personally mapex are the best mid range kit sellers, if you have the money buy it and yes i wanted blue or orange i wentwith orange but blue looks nice, what cymbals would you get??
