  • Disgusting! Lies, lies, and more lies. He'd say anything to get elected and the most frustrating part is he did get elected and probably will again because people don't look into the truth. Be a responsible citizen and thoroughly research the candidate's past before voting!!!

  • Dear Elisabeth Hasslebeck, your still a bigot.

  • two faced lying twerp

  • What a LIAR. Now he's instructed the DOJ not to defend the Defense of Marriage Act.

What else is he lying about? Hmm?

  • For a Christian to use religion to limit the rights, benefits or respect of any individual, is a red flag that people are operating outside of civil rights mandate. God did "say" that man should not lay with another man". But he also advocated slavery, incest and murder. Bottom line, there is no evidence of god even existing. So, as people have the right to believe what they want to believe, the DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE THEIR BELIEFS TO LEGISLATE INFRACTIONS ON HUMAN RIGHTS.

  • He said this to get votes but now that he is in there he ordered the justice department o quit defending marriage as between a man and a woman.

  • he is really great at going on and on about shit he lies about

long enough so by the time he finishes talking you barely remember what he was saying

  • honastly, marriage wasn't even given the defanition it has today, before christeanity was created, marriage was a buisness deal between the father and the man, wether it be livestalk, gold, land, or other essentials that was very important back than. Back than, a marriage could have actually been between 1 man, and a differance between one or more women, so honastly, it shouldn't matter now aday's who get's married, as long as they love each other, that's all that matters.

  • The left went mental on Carrie Prejean for giving the EXACT SAME ANSWER that their beloved Barack Obama gave, so lets see if they aren't hypocrites and will hold him to the same scorn that they have for not only Carrie Prejean, Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin on the issue of gay marriage.

  • @xpandergt

You'remostly right. As a very liberal person, I find it odd that Democrats have such a difficult time saying that people deserve equal rights. Everybody knows that Dems believe in civil rights for homosexuals, but they are so scared of the right-wing fear machine that they become total pussies. Obama believes in gay marriage. He is just a coward to not admit it. You are wrong in that you say his and Carries answers were the same. His was nuanced and thoughtful. Hers was idiotic.

  • @PharmacySpirits I find it funny how people who suport gays bastardizing the definition of marriage always have to try to compare sexuality with race and the civil rights era 50 years ago. There is a reason why an overwhelming majority of blacks get offended when gays and their supporters try to make that comparison. Prop 8 in California passed due to the majority of blacks supporting it. They aren't fooled by gays trying to pimp their cause.

  • @PharmacySpirits Once a coward, always a coward! It's now history.

  • @PALINSMITH What are you referring to, I'm sorry. I haven't been on this page for 9 month and I'm not sure what exactly you're directly responding to, with me.

  • LOL OWNED LOL

The gays are now outraged that they got betrayed. That's what you get for being selfish and voting for someone to help only yourself.

  • I think he DOES believe in the definition of Marriage as a Man and Woman but he is a typical Politician who will say Anything to get elected and try not to piss off any voters prior to the Vote which is all he is doing. They only thing he did here by being wishy washy on Marriage (and Abortion in the same debate) was lose his credibilty with the Religious crowd, rightfully so.

  • In that case then LaReina is OUT of the Obama mix. Anyone have the number for Rush?

  • Somehow, I find that there is a lot of hypocrisy in Obama's statement. If he doesn't want to establish a definition of marriage, then to me, he doesn't truly believe in the definition of marriage.
