That takes me back. I played the HELL out of this game back in the 90's. Just got my NES working again so I'll have to pop it in. I remember that this game was much nicer than Bubble Bobble 1, had no idea till a few years ago that it was so rare though.
I didn't know about the Bubble Bobble system of elemental bubbles and the different effects they have. Great Long Play. I also found it interesting that you maintained about 40+ extra lives until the last boss and lost almost 10. It seems like unless you have a pretty big store of extra lives the last boss would be nearly impossible.
