  • as a bari sax player my self , you are freakin amazing! and ya why won't the people in the back shout the fuck up!!!!!! you guys are amazing , and my sax quartet are playing this too, at our next concert

  • god damn you guys are like the epitome of cool :')

  • Food haha. it was the band banquet

  • @ 1:25 : What the hey are they lining up for? :/

  • Amazing!! Love the shades hehehe :)

  • jerks everywhere.

  • How dare so many people be talking during this.

    SPACE KILL THEM.

  • Oh my gosh, will the people in the background shout their freaking mouths. I mean gosh, we are trying to listen to the music. If I had a wrotweiler, I would sick it on all those people, see if they'll keep talking after that.

  • Cool shades, bro

  • Well it's clearly not a stage. I think it was "Side entertainment" for a break or a line of some sorts. Sad, but most people, whether they like it or not, will not shut up just because music is playing unless it's in a concert hall.

  • Thank god this isn't another Tank! video.

  • ....Why didn't I think to sugest this in high school?! And i'm a sax player.

  • The people in the back lining up looked like "wtf, what are they clapping for?"

  • very well done. where can you find the sheet music?

  • I have been looking for this sheet music and have not been able to find it...makes me sad

  • the noise as awful

  • shut the fuckin people up! so disrepectful!

  • OMG all those people need TO SHUT THE FUCK UP man these guys are good at this song thoe ... great job ^^

  • why is everyone still talking when they are playing?

  • Comment removed

  • I relly hope these guys gt the respect they desrve aftrwords in makng other appearances. Ths is one of the best, if not the bst cover of ths song on all of ytube. To the people that didnt enjoy this, and to the people in this video who couldnt understand the sher awesmenes that they have dsplayed I can only pity. I, for one, am glad that I could enjoy ths, and I am sure many others think alike. To those whom don't enjoy it, just respect, move along, and don't ruin it for it for the rest of us.

  • If i were one of the sax players i would beat some ass

some people dont appreciate true talent, and great music

  • somedy coul tellme the name of thid track, and in wich sountrak its included?

  • can i get the bari sax part pls pls pls i love this song and i play bari sax

  • its a shame some people are too busy to stop for a moment and just enjoy good music, instead.. disrupt a performance by Q-ing up behind it :) you've entertained me nonetheless

  • Rude ppl starting at 2:00

  • What song is this?

  • I would have Liked if the bass line kept the same beat and everyone else got a little loud because the beri sax was louder then all the others but other then that great job

  • It's the responsibility of any authoritarian figure in the room to quiet down these immature teens during a performance such as this, do your jobs, teachers! Performance well done

  • wow rude ass people in this but one danm good bunch of saxes

  • freaking awesome, u guys rock!

  • Nice arrangement! The players didn't get enough credit!

  • Successful performance, Failed audience.

Those aren't trash by the road side, they are professional players.

Those aren't audience for music, they are bunch of rude crap.

  • ...walking in front of a performance???? WHAT!

  • guys you should do this again in a studio or somethin', you're great, but the noise around is awful!...

  • This is sick. I am s glad i got some cultured people to play this tune in a recital with me.

  • Wow, You guys are freaking awsome!

  • Only if these people had the pleasure in experiencing the greatness that is Cowboy Bebop T_T

  • my fucking goodness those people are incredibly freakin rude, i probably would've kept my cool for two seconds and then exploded. the way they played through all that was very professional

  • I could see this ep going though my mind as yall played, well done.

  • what kind of arrangement is it?

  • man you guys are great!!!!!!!

  • i should learn to play the sax and get 3 friends to learn too just to play this song.

  • @tehpanda64100 Yeah this song takes a good 7 years of experience or more to play, good luck with that.

  • @AnDsaxplayer well im 15 so not like i don't have alot of time on my hands :D

  • 20 bucks says it's a line for food xP

  • people dont shut up!

  • Where's Spike when you need him? He'll whoop all those people's asses

  • Great job guys : ) Sounds great and luv the outfits.

  • soo... why is the gurl wearing that?

    THEYRE MAD GOOD!!! love it

  • Wow that was spot-on with the original, fucking excellent job guys!

  • awesome :D

where did you find the sheet music for it?

i know it's a standart question but i would love to see it

  • People shouldn't be up there, and they should shut the fuck up and enjoy the talent.

  • wtf @ the dude who shoves his way in past the female sax-er at 1:38? lol these people should be standing still in shocked awe!

  • We should send those talking people to space without protection !

    See you, space coward...

  • And that bari sax player looks like a beast

  • That bari sax part at 0:30 and 0:47 is sexy

  • Although the music is epicly awesome and you all did an awesome job, your audience was just rude as hell. People walk right up along side you and try to squeeze past you to up? Can't they have the decency to walk around the crowd to get in line? I'm no Saxophone expert, but I have to say this song might be a bit tough. Maybe I'm just ranting too much, but still, epicly awesome job. I just wish your audience showed you and your group some freaking respect.

  • First time I've seen Youtube recognize the sheer awesome of a saprano Sax.

  • Just wow

  • Just wow

  • anyone know the notes for the alto for this?

  • Stop tapping your freakin' foot! :)

Oh, I mean that in total jest...I say it too my students all the time, and I personally know how hard it is.

  • @babylupin

    Music teacher, eh?

I find tapping your foot helps keep the beat and the tempo in your mind. Besides, wouldn't you agree that to play music, you need to be more a part of it?

  • Bari sax is the Boss!

  • You guys are freakin' jammin'! Is this at, like, a party or what? Anyway, right on! Diggin' the silver sax, BTW. Tenor, I think?

  • what the fuck is up with that Kimono?!?! lmao

  • @Efrenbarca

um, maybe because it's from a Japanese composer.

That's like asking why an Indian woman is wearing a sari.

WTF is up with that stupid question?

  • @tvis81

thats funny, cuz I see all French composers dressed like Napoleon and all Mexican performers in Sombreros. My apologies, t'was a stupid question. Maybe I asked it since there was nothing better to comment on such a sad video

  • @Efrenbarca

if there's nothing better to say, then why not keep your asinine comments to yourself? it takes a really special kind of person to so easily ridicule what takes an artist a considerable amount of time and effort to prepare. there's nothing like rudely commenting on someone's hard work while hiding behind a message board somewhere. Congrats, jackass! you're just like every other youtuber who surfs the internet waiting for a chance to be an asshole to a complete stranger.

  • @tvis81 see you justify your own comment when you say I am ridiculing the hard work of these people, when I am in fact referring to the lack of respect that people show at this "performance." Sure, they aren't the best players, but I understand what it is to play small gigs like this and have people walk past you without showing the least bit of appreciation.

  • @tvis81 So congrats to you , you cumwat, for first telling me I am ignorant for not knowing the "composer" of this song, and then saying I am spineless for my own defense. Kudos to you for your own badge of stupidity and utmost bigatry. I'm done with you

  • @Efrenbarca I'm glad ur done, cuz ur not making any sense. The more u write, the more I realize u have no idea what ur talking about. I had to respond to u b4 cuz u were rude in your first comment. Who cares if she wears a Kimono? If anything, it's homage to the composer - which is a nice thing to do. Then, u say "there's nothing better to comment in such a sad video," which is more rude nonsense. So, I tell u to keep ur thoughts to urself.

  • @Efrenbarca Where exactly do you make any reference at all to other people's lack of respect? You don't. So don't try to recover from your douchebaggery, cuz you're not fooling anyone. Furthermore, I made no reference to your ignorance of the composer. I just berated you for making such an asinine comment about the kimono and then saying there was nothing else to say in such a sad video. Then you go on to call me bigoted (nice spelling by the way), which has no relevance whatsoever.

  • i wish people on the background to STFU!!!

no other groups of players play 'Sax Quartet' as good as your group drummerfromsamoa

tempo is perfect, harmony is awesome, and there are no shyness in the sound ( by this i mean no one in your group plays too quietly or smudging his/her part as if he/she didn't fully practice the part)

    this deserves awesomeness award :)

  • Great rendition! I love this song. You go to school with a lot of assholes. I feel bad for the alto and soprano players. People keep bumping into them. Not to mention the people who won't shut up.

  • This is so damn sexy. Loving this.

  • baracus on bari! :]

    great job guys

  • it was genius wow......that school their really not soo respectful to music whatsoever

  • Maybe it was just where the mic was that made it loud

  • wow this is great! too bad your school can't appreciate jazz or anything cultural. i thought it was spot on

  • That's just what it's like at a gig sometimes. The music isn't always the center of attention unless it's a concert. Been there done that. Good job.

  • I can't believe thos idiots behind the quartet. One of the reasons I picked up an instrument in the first place was so that I wold never be one of the clueless morons who just stands around and stares at a musician playing live at a gig like this. At least they got applause.

  • where did you get this sheet music?

  • @LancerFuchs Grapevine! Mustangs=awesome

  • @LancerFuchs im in texas! but not in ur sax section :(

  • people shut the fuck up

  • Was this played at a school or a convention? I think yous are really good ^_^

  • You guys are amazing!!!! Can't believe these people just continue to talk while you guys are preforming! They're so rude, and you guys deserve to be respected!!!!

  • I always loved this tune. Excellent performance!

Notice how there are fools wandering through the doors, through the group, and behind the quartet (how could you not)? They don't even break their stride. That's professionalism! Keith Jarret would have exectued any audience member who so much as coughed.

    Props to you guys.

(Ms. Pink wants to steal the silver tenor and the alto's dress--mad props again)

  • these people are absolute ignorants! this looks like some 'let's annoy the musicians' show. but you're doing a great job

  • Mad props to ya guys, this is truly bad ass! People talkin and walkin by and you guys continue to jam.

  • this sounds really good, great job guys!

  • amazing job :)

  • this song is amazing. you guys did an awesome job. props.

  • WOW! amazing. kudos. i love this song

  • i would of just stop playing cause these people just dont care.

  • niiiiiice, but what the hell with the people in the audience.

  • Great! There was barely any difference from the sound of the studio version.

  • Good job! I think the soprano's a little sharp but nice playing regardless!

  • ...

I just noticed the soprano sounds a little like an Oboe. O_o

  • I likie. ;D

    I play Tenor sax. :3

  • ugh the audience needs to shut up :(

    good job though

  • Not to bash on the bari, but he keeps skipping out on one of the eight notes in his part to take a breath. Good job though!

  • nice slaps.

  • ahahahha oddio splendidi!!! che bravi!!! siete perfetti!!!!

  • you guys are awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is just amazing.

  • awesome! where did u guys get the sheet music?

  • VERY awesome...im playing this with some seniors (and im a freshmen xD) im playing tenor and it sounds so awesome when we play it

  • I like the Bari Sax: He plays Bari, I play Bari, bias. He also seems really casual; wears shorts, sunglasses, and has a mohawk.

  • dayum, i want to learn how to play tenor, oboe, and erm was it bass sax? i'm already good (almost) with alto.... <- jazz and concert band atm

  • @Masterxzero2 uhh i mean baritone and tenor

  • I play Tenor Sax. So, tenor guy is my fav xD

  • This is so amazingly done! I want to hear more, haha. Very lame ppl lining up in back of them. I would've given them my undivided attention.

  • que carajos hace toda esa gente ahi al rededor!!!, acaso no tienen oidos para poder apreciar la calidad de musica que estaba en sus narices!!!!!, que maleducados por dios!!!.

  • Comment removed

  • ohhhhh nice.

    this is absolutely awesome.

    EXCELLENT JOB. 5/5 stars.

  • straight saxophone! :D

  • Haha, really well done, I loved it

  • We Just played this, i am so jealous right now,

  • i dont understand why people are taslking so loud and walking around during this performance...

  • Just wanna smack that guy who gets behind the bari. Looks like he's trying to mess the guy up!

Excellent job to the four people playing. Way to stay on your A-game especially with everyone being as loud as they were.

  • why is the audience so loud?

  • That was great guys! Too bad hardly anyone there seemed to appreciate it.

  • @Kunjaku (sigh) Nobody appreciates good,REAL, music anymore. :[- there so hooked on there Auto-tuned Celebrities..

  • I completely agree with you there. People can real jerks.

  • WOW people are so loud! how rude?!?!

  • @diddlybop it doesn't appear that this group is the main attraction. I hardly think it's rude for the people to carry out their purpose for being there. That is unless i missed something.

  • if i was there i would definetely grab a micro and shout STFU PEOPLE

  • Fucking awesome job!!!!

  • Frikin awesome! Way to go sax!

  • niiiiice :)

  • the bari rocks

  • U r great guys! :D, I've never seen someone who can play like Seatbelts band O.o, keed playin! :D (I would like to see Tank! :D )

  • Actually, something about the background chatter with the music on top of it sounds good. I do hate it when people talk during performances, though. I was at a school show last week and there was this one asshole that was just having full on conversation during an acoustic set like it wasn't annoying people. I gave that fucker some evil glares.

  • What the hell are people chatting in the background for, when there is great music shoved right up your ass. It's like looking at a hundred dollar bill and walking past it

  • its played at the same speed as the recording you douchebag =]

  • @drummerfromsamoa You guys did a great job!

  • stfu fgt, you post and do better, until then diaf.

  • lol alright kid

  • and no. play it simultaneously with the recording, you guys drag, lol funny how the tempo is the only thing you got offended from

  • Does anyone know where I can get my hands on that Music?

  • omfg! all types of saxes playing: tenor, alto, baritone, and even soprano! :D

  • The crowd is a bunch of stupid kids who can't appreciate good music when it is being played right in front of their stupid faces.

  • People need to learn to shut the fuck up when music is playing.

  • @LovelyYTRocks I thinks it's a different setting.

  • Does anybody else thing the Bari Sax is SUPER sexy?

Anyway, the balance and the style was awesome. Short and clean! five stars.

  • awesome!!! where did you get the sheet music??

  • Awesome!

Where did you guys find the sheet music for this?

I'd love to share this with my band!

  • oh wow

  • This made my day!!!! Thanks guys!! COWBOY BEBOP ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey, great job, where did you get the sheet music, can you send me it or the link where you got it?

  • These guys are pro.

    5/5 ftw lol.

  • The audience actually adds to the song. It sort of reminds me of the setting in Cowboy Bebop where this was played. It was a rather normal but busy setting where everyone was doing their own thing.

  • Wow that was great. Very well done

  • Wow !!

  • where did you get the sheet music for this from?

  • Haha yeaah silver tenors ftw! Rock it.

  • thanks. its a yamaha custom z.

  • @drummerfromsamoa damn that is a nice sounding tenor....

  • lol that guy on barri sax is a beast, props to him

  • that was so awesome :O too bad the audience barely cared.

  • awesome quartet! where did you guys get the music from?

  • The music if from the anime show Cowboy Bebop. Great Anime and Great music by Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts. The soundtrack is just great. Most of her stuff is great.

  • Bari player had an incredible solo

  • I don't suppose anyone can post a link to a score for this song could they? I've been wanting to find one for a while.

  • You people got the rhythym goin', my friends. I'm totally diggin' the guy on Bari Sax. and I love the Tenor Sax. The Tenor player also seems to be really into it. One of my favorite songs from Cowboy Bebop. I'll favorite this one. 5 stars.

  • That is so rude. You would think in the very least, if not only would they not just shut the hell up, that they wouldn't also try to get past the quartet to line up!

  • Well to be honest, it does look like that they are playing at a function as background music and not playing a concert which means the people they're playing for shouldn't have to 'shut the hell up'.

  • Well to be honest with you John, a wedding band is sometimes background music while you're eating your dry chicken or fish, but no wedding have I ever been to where they set the band up in the path of the line to the bar or buffet and people mixed themselves with the musicians. I'm from NYC. We've got street performers all over the place. Not one time have I ever seen, no matter how good or bad a band was, passengers cut through the band in order to get to the train.

  • Not all weddings are the same, don't put the band in front of the food queue then.

Just deal with it. These guys didn't seem to mind.

  • hey we performed that song this morning. neat

  • would be awesome to compose this for trumpet.

  • I like it. It just seems a tad on the slow side.. or maybe its from the audience noise..

  • what song are they playing?

  • lol

    Sax Quartet ;)
