this is not using a 3d modeler. they are using something similar to powerpoint. they take a 2d image and rotate and spin it. at 2:37, they flip a galaxy on the z axis and it disapears. in reality, the galazy has a () shape to it when viewed from the side! if that fundamental information is invalide, nothing they say can be trusted!...and i have not been in space and i know this!! WTF
I went to the Morrison Planetarium today. I've never before experienced such a profound sense of the immenseness and mystery of the universe. It's as close to interstellar travel as we will ever have. Forget the science fiction versions. Believe me, this is a much more deeply moving experience, one that I wasn't really expecting. Talk about getting a sense of the big picture, this is it. No one should miss this.
I was there today and the experience is mind blowing. loved every bit of the planetarium.
