  • When you watch this video, send a little prayer to heaven for the wonderful woman who made it, she died on the 10th of February 2012 at 5:00 pm. RIP Fatima you had such a big heart.

  • i can sympathize with japan. Im from Christurch, New Zealand.

  • I love it when I come to youtube to watch videos but wind up looking at slideshows of pictures set to music. Oh, wait, no I don't. It's lame.

  • poor japan!!!

  • God bless you Japan.........................

  • all i can think of is the song..... smoke on the water.

  • The only thing I can say of this event, is this, This is a country that was prepared for such, imagine the deaths that would have been if they were not. (other countries might take note) I say a prayer for those that have passed because of this and for those that must live thorugh their passing.

  • I think all the whales and dolphins focused all their psychic powers on that earthquake fault and caused the earthquake, to get even.

  • I LOVE JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!

    TE AMO JAPON!

  • you wake up one morning not knowing sooner or later you are going to be killed in some thing, You eat breakfast. Go to work. Then when your driving home a tsnumi. and you get killed. please pray for all the ppl who died.

  • whats the song called?

  • Had there been one true and devout catholic praying the holy rosary every night in this region of Japan in March, 2011, my Father Almighty would have never caused this unbelievable quake to hit this region. Japanese gotta start to be converted to Christians and ask for God's mercy to save themselves. Otherwise, we might see a worse on in 2012 that can cause half of Japan sucked into Pacific Ocean.

  • @tshk5271221 Leave relegion out of natural disasters!

  • Cousin: it was on a friday?

    Me: yes..

Cousin: ITS FRIDAY FRIDAY GOTTA GET DOWN ON....WAAAH *BREAKS INTO TEARS*

Me: R.I.P. fellow j-pop and japanese people.... japan will always be awesome no matter wat happens TT~TT

  • Rodrigo Dios no quiere todo esto ,no es posible que tengan que morir tanta gente inocente solo para mostrar su poder o dar un escarmiento , dios no es así..... nosotros somo los culpables tu yo todos...saludos Chile

  • i think this year japan will have a stronger earthquake.. remember this comment when it happens..

    R.I.P. all dead people..!

  • I like the music. I think it fits in perfectly.

  • Yoshi I Hope you are ok --- Covenant

  • But the good news is

The surf in Cali was EPIC that weekend

  • Thumbs up if you think that TheGetfresh1 and DummkopfRadar are not smart enough to turn down the volume on their computers. Some people live a pathetic and poor life.

  • so sorry for all of the loss. :'(

  • the music is so sad!!

  • @ashly55ful I know it’s sad but it’s hard to use a cheerful Music when you make videos like this one, just imagine the terrible pain they’re going through?

    Thank you for your comment.

  • @YemSom yes, sad indeed, and i hope people do not blame GOD for this, he is out father in heaven, things happen, we just have to have him in our hearts...

  • @RodrigoMJ32 Question, God controls everything that happens right, but why would he want to do something like this to people, it does not make sense to me.

  • @Deathsquadstudios4 1. He test people. I don't know which people. But I'm pretty sure to the people who are bad. Because He want to test their faith. To see if they want to pray for Japan or not.

    2. It's His choice. He knows what He does. Don't against His knowledge.

  • @ashly55ful I think of this music as anything but sad. Snatam Kaur is one of my favourite artists, and this song is so completely uplifting!

"May the long time sun shine upon you

    All love surround you

And the pure light within you

    Guide your way on."

  • @TheGetfresh1 AND @ DummkopfRadar

It’s amazing how some people lower themselves just to get a little attention! This video is NOT about MUSIC, you need to FOCUS on all the PEOPLE that lost their lives in this tragedy!! SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU!!!

  • @YemSom i agree its pretty pathetic i think people should grow up i feel so sorry for the ppl affected by this :(

  • @mycew Well said my friend!

    You know what they say

    Misery loves company indeed!!

THANK YOU for your kind comment!

  • allways those pathetic music..thats so cheep..

  • Very well done -- such a tragic time for the kind people of Japan. Thank you.

  • しかし、OMG津波

  • ;(

  • pray for people who died in the earthquake

  • pray for people who died

  • All my prayers for those who didn't survive and those who are dealing with a hard life afterwards.

  • wow that is so sad i wish i could help those people who suffered in japan by that tragic tsunami

  • at least a tentacle monster didn't appear from the tsunami and rape everybody like it does in your anime.

  • peace be with the people who lost their lives and the family who has to go on without them.

  • u know i got a friend that lives in japan he didnt get hit but he told me some weird shit on what happened i live in alabama where the tornado came through april 27,2011 but 3 days before i was talking to him and i said "Nikeru its been fun man but i gotta feeling i wont be online for a while" so he asks why and i say"dont know dude just got this weird feeling of losing a loved one and friends" then 3 days later i lose a teacher and 2 friends and my apartment(we were in the process of moving)

  • If you live in the following earthquake zones then you should emigrate:

    1. New Zealand 2. California 3. Iceland 4. Israel 5. Pakistan 6. Mexico 7. Haiti

    8. Mexico 9. Japan 10. Indonesia

  • what song is this? pleaseee beautiful song

  • @barbyezoey The name of the song is “ Long Time Sun”

    By Snatam Kaur

  • @YemSom thanks darlin

  • Rest In Peace to those who didnt make it.

  • Well intended but I do think the 0:56 photo is a digital fake, or from another tsunami (but this is far less likely). A tsunami wave does not look like this. Pity to over-dramatize what is a sad event that needs no embellishment. The videos from Japan say enough...........

  • R.I.P God bless who did not survive :(

  • Hundreds? It was thousands of people that past away.

  • TI HALK LU BUAR

  • HAARPs work

  • good old mother nature great footage

  • is it still like this?

  • its all mother natures fault :(

  • this sometimes makes me cry cuz my grandma was in the earthquake and died :(

  • Anyone else have to piss?

  • I look back on it now me and my friend was going on a plane in the china airlines but i said i had something else to do and couldent go to china... that very day i found out the plane burted in to flames and he was rusehd to the E.r he died shotry after :(

  • @MrGboy111 Aweeeeeeeeee Gosh, that's terrible, I'm so sorry to hear that but glad you are okay.

  • R.I.P

  • R.I.P

i will miss those i did not even now, so sorry for all of the loss

  • @andacondasqueeze Me too! Thank you for your kind heart!

  • why did god punishing them thats only he know!

  • this tears my ass apart :c

  • I believe the pic at 2:20 is from Chile earthquake. Also, I don't think the pic at 0:56 is from Japan. Japanese housings have different types of roofs. Not that flat there.

  • @moronormormon Anything is possible and if what you stated is a fact, I assure you my intention was never intended to mislead anyone! I know sometimes the internet can give us the wrong info!

  • @moronormormon

0:56 is photoshoped. I'm an experienced matte painter and the wave splash is way to big, non- uniform, and didn't break before hitting the shore. The OP should verify his sources before posting anything. Make a google image search under the image name "Fotolia_2001312_XS.jpg"

  • My mate got killed in a building during the earthquake.

    R.I.P james :,(

  • @Vanquish434 Sorry for your loss...

  • @Vanquish434 Oh I'm sorry for your loss. James? Japanese friend?

  • @Vanquish434 I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend!

  • @Vanquish434 Rly sorry for your friend mate ;(

  • @Vanquish434 I feel so bad for you.R.I.P James

  • Wow.. I had completely forgotten how bad it really was! :o

  • Thank you.

  • @LostoVae loved the video i was nere the epi center of the quake i saw a city get wiped off the map the wave was 45feet high i still have nightmares to this day about it but i still <3 japan one of my fav places.

  • Everytime I watch this video it makes me cry. I hope Japan is all better.

  • December 2011: time for an update on how Japan is rebuilding itself.

  • One of my friends' mom got in the quake, but she escaped just in time.

Very saddening. Take good care. :)

  • One Of My Friends..

Even though, i never met them, i know they will be in my hart and missed by me.

    Kana and Hisano, RIP.</3

  • is it just me or 1) does this move you to tears and 2) make you appreciate that you are living somewhere where this wouldn't happen.

  • My heart is with Japans people...I don't understand the tragic things of today's world, I only hope we help one another in these sad times...bless you dear one!~

  • aint it weird everything seems to happen on a friday , seriously meteroites stuff like that, look it up R.I.P to all that lost there lives x

  • Everyone say goodbye to japan!

  • This really moves me and has me tearing up a bit. It brings back memories for me because I was living in Japan during the quake. I felt it, and was lucky enough to be living in the mountains far enough inland that not only was there no fear of the resulting tsunami, the quake its self only measured a shindou 3 on the Japanese scale. I didn't realize how bad it was until my boss came upstairs and turned on the news where we watched the tsunami come in live.

I think you have done really well.

  • @magoom00 Thank you so much for sharing your tsunami experience with us and I'm glad to hear you are okay! I do however feel so bad for the people that lost their lives and loved once, makes me so very sad.

    Take good care.

    ~Fatima

  • extremely shocked to hear about the loss of lives, injuries and the colossal damages; a catastrophic disaster indeed......one of the most destructive tsunamis out of all those I've seen.

watching this and thinking to myself how small and powerless we are, like dust in the wind; a mere speck in a huge realm of things.......no place to go to or to hide when a fatal wave like that hits .

I convey my sincere sympathy and deepest condolences to the victims and their families......

  • Fatima..As usual, you did a fantastic job. They have been put to the test, in such a horrible way. Keeping the faith for the people of japan. xoxo

  • Hey Fatima you did a great job on this video and I also recognized that someone gave you 4 thumbs down, this is happening on most of your videos. If you think someone is trying to give you a bad rating on your videos, you can ask our friends from youtube to check it .I know they will help you and imagine how embarrassing it is for him/her to get busted. I can help you if you like :) May God bless the suffering people around the world, wherever they are.

  • @LostoVae Thank you Chris! You notice that too, it’s obvious huh? I also had some other friends wrote to me and said the same thing. My dear anyone can see this is an act of a pure hate and jealousy. If you look at the videos this individual is focusing are the videos that I care so deeply like the children videos, the once I dedicated to my friends and the most viewed.

  • @LostoVae My work is not about gaining rates or publicity. I do what I do because I care and that’s what matters to me! Thank you for your concern, support and for being my wonderful friend! H U G S!

  • @LostoVae I'm sure you mean well and u appear to be a v kind person but "May God bless the suffering people" god could have created a universe without suffering thus negating the need for this grief? can we try to ignore the idea of god and just help each other - i would fight for your right to say/believe what u think btw. As for the gutless coward doin the thumbin down he/she is just showing what a pitiful human they are - don't lose any sleep over them magoom00 - peace 2u both

  • AS OF TODAY, MARCH - 13 - 2011,

Japan disasters: Deaths may exceed 10,000 in Miyagi!

    GOD BE WITH YOU ALL!!

    ~Fatima

  • ""I have come to realize what is important in life," Osuga said, nervously flicking ashes from a cigarette onto the rubble at her feet as a giant column of black smoke billowed in the distance. "

  • "She gathered her children — aged 2 to 6 — and fled in her car to higher ground with her husband. They spent the night huddled in a hilltop home belonging to her husband's family about 12 miles (20 kilometers) away.

"My family, my children. We are lucky to be alive," she said. "

  • "Osuga said she had been playing origami, the Japanese art of folding paper into figures, with her three children when the quake stuck. She recalled her husband's shouted warning from outside: "'GET OUT OF THERE NOW!'" "

  • "A few minutes later, the firefighters spotted another — that of a man in black fleece jacket and pants, crumpled in a partial fetal position at the bottom of a wooden stairwell. From outside, the house seemed almost untouched, two cracks in the white walls the only signs of damage.

The man's neighbor, 24-year-old Ayumi Osuga, dug through the remains of her own house, her white mittens covered by dark mud. "

  • "Two other U.S. rescue teams of 72 personnel each and rescue dogs were scheduled to arrive later Sunday, as was a five-dog team from Singapore.

In Sendai, firefighters with wooden picks dug through a devastated neighborhood. One of them yelled: "A corpse." Inside a house, he had found the body of a gray-haired woman under a blanket. "

  • "Police cars drove slowly through the town and warned residents through loudspeakers to seek higher ground, but most simply stood by and watched them pass.

Dozens of countries have offered assistance. Two U.S. aircraft carrier groups were off Japan's coast and ready to provide assistance. Helicopters were flying from one of the carriers, the USS Ronald Reagan, delivering food and water in Miyagi. "

  • "One older neighborhood sits on low ground near a canal. The tsunami came in from the canal side and blasted through the frail wooden houses, coating the interiors with a thick layer of mud and spilling their contents out into the street on the other side.

"It's been two days, and all I've been given so far is a piece of bread and a rice ball," said Masashi Imai, 56. "

  • "Residents said the water surged in and quickly rose higher than the first floor of buildings. At Sengen General Hospital the staff worked feverishly to haul bedridden patients up the stairs one at a time. With the halls now dark, those that can leave have gone to the local community center.

"There is still no water or power, and we've got some very sick people in here," said hospital official Ikuro Matsumoto. "

  • ""My water is cut off," said Kenji Fukuda, who lives in the rural town of Sukugawa. It "is a little bit rural and there is natural well water. We take it and put it through the water purifier and warm it up and use it in various ways," he said.

In the small town of Tagajo, near Sendai, dazed residents roamed streets cluttered with smashed cars, broken homes and twisted metal. "

  • "At a large refinery on the outskirts of the hard-hit port city of Sendai, 100-foot (30-meter) -high bright orange flames rose in the air, spitting out dark plumes of smoke. The facility has been burning since Friday. The fire's road could be heard from afar, and a gaseous stench burned the eyes and throat."

  • "In Iwaki town, residents were leaving due to concerns over dwindling food and fuel supplies. The town had no electricity and all stores were closed. Local police took in about 90 people and gave them blankets and rice balls but there was no sign of government or military aid trucks."

  • "In the town of Minamisanrikucho, 10,000 people — nearly two-thirds of the population — have not been heard from since the tsunami wiped it out, a government spokesman said. NHK showed only a couple concrete structures still standing, and the bottom three floors of those buildings gutted. One of the few buildings standing was a hospital, and a worker told NHK hospital staff rescued about a third of the patients in the facility."

  • "Large areas of the countryside remained surrounded by water and unreachable. Fuel stations were closed and people were running out of gasoline for their vehicles."

  • ""This is Japan's most severe crisis since the war ended 65 years ago," Kan told reporters, adding that Japan's future would be decided by the response to this crisis.

In a rare piece of good news, the Defense Ministry said a military vessel on Sunday rescued a 60-year-old man floating off the coast of Fukushima on the roof of his house after being swept away in the tsunami. He was in good condition."

  • "While the government doubled the number of soldiers deployed in the aid effort to 100,000 and sent 120,000 blankets, 120,000 bottles of water and 110,000 liters of gasoline plus food to the affected areas, Prime Minister Nato Kan said electricity would take days to restore. In the meantime, he said, electricity would be rationed with rolling blackouts to several cities, including Tokyo."

  • "Hundreds of thousands of hungry survivors huddled in darkened emergency centers that were cut off from rescuers, aid and electricity. At least 1.4 million households had gone without water since the quake struck and some 1.9 million households were without electricity."

  • "According to officials, at least 1,200 people were killed — including 200 people whose bodies were found Sunday along the coast — and 739 were missing in the disasters.

For Japan, one of the leading economies with ultramodern infrastructure, the disasters made ordinary life unimaginably difficult."

  • "To the south, in Miyagi prefecture, or state, the police chief told a gathering of disaster relief officials that his estimate for deaths was more than 10,000, police spokesman Go Sugawara told The Associated Press. Miyagi has a population of 2.3 million and is one of the three prefectures hardest hit in Friday's disaster. Only 379 people have officially been confirmed as dead in Miyagi."

  • "In Rikusentakata, a port city of over 20,000 virtually wiped out by the tsunami, Etsuko Koyama escaped the water rushing through the third flood of her home but lost her grip on her daughter's hand and has not found her.

"I haven't given up hope yet," Koyama told public broadcaster NHK, wiping tears from her eyes. "I saved myself, but I couldn't save my daughter."

  • "Temperatures began sinking toward freezing, compounding the misery of survivors along hundreds of miles (kilometers) of the northeastern coast battered by the tsunami that smashed inland with breathtaking fury. Rescuers pulled bodies from mud-covered jumbles of wrecked houses, shattered tree trunks, twisted cars and tangled power lines while survivors examined the ruined remains."

  • "Japan's prime minister called the crisis the most severe challenge the nation has faced since World War II, as the grim situation worsened. Friday's disasters damaged two nuclear reactors, potentially sending one through a partial meltdown and adding radiation contamination to the fears of an unsettled public."

  • March 13 / 2011, 40 minutes ago:

"TAGAJO, Japan – People across a devastated swath of Japan suffered for a third day Sunday without water, electricity and proper food, as the country grappled with the enormity of a massive earthquake and tsunami that left more than 10,000 people dead in one area alone."

  • My dear friends,

I want to thank every one of you for commenting and showing your kindness support.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how” soon it will be too late.

I value your friendship and support.

    THANK YOU AGAIN!!

  • A real tragedy. We can just pray and help as much as possible through charities. I have heard it mentioned that Japan has helped in many of the recent disasters in other countries, they should be helped now by us.

  • It was a real tragedy !

  • This is so horrible. No words are bad enough to describe this.

Feel so sorry for all these people of Japan, that i'm all in tears :-(((

    This is like nightmare !!!

No offence...I don't believe in God. But if i did, i'll probably say, he's been having a VERY BAD DAY !

  • My heart, my thought, and my prayers are with the people of Japan may the Almighty give them comfort and solace...Thank you Fattum very much for this upload!!!XXX!!!~X~!!!~O~!!!~Hailab~!!!

  • This is another shock.....I'm with the people......I won't stop praying until my dear Japanese YT-friends have given me a life sign.....I'm so worried about them all....

Thanks for this important video..............we are all so helpless, that's what we have in common now.........Hugs, Kirawe

  • If you take a look at those pictures, you see how small and vulnerable we are. Lately it seems to me as if those disaster occur more often, many people are concerned, they think about the mayan calendar 2012, or the upcoming armaggedon mentioned in the bible, I don't know, it could also be, that the media coverage is much faster than it was before . My thoughts are with the people who suffer. I really hope they can handle the problems with the nuclear power plant...Thank you Fatima !

  • Wonderful dedication. What a sad situation. Thumbs up.

    Peace,

    Bobby

  • @BobbyHughes1957 Thank you. It is difficult to find an original word to describe this tragedy and sorrow. I greet with affection.

    Alicja

  • We will be praying for the people of Japan

  • all those people

  • Thank you!

  • THIS TRAGEDY CAN HAPPEN TO ANY COUNTRY, TO ANY OF US! NO ONE IS SAFE!!

    MY PRAYERS GOES TO ALL!!!
