A simple example of free energy is a permanent magnet and an electromagnet lets say on your ceiling.

You power up the electromagnet and place a metal object say a hammer on it and it sticks. Work is being done.

You then take the same hammer and place it on the permanent magnet and it sticks without having to supply power to it.

This is an electric motor for christ sakes, you just switched the rotor and the stator. rather than coils pushing against the magnets, the magnet is pushing against the coil. as i said again - run it without the battery and see what happens. if it was producing energy you could start it with your hand and it would accelerate.
